Yes BYL, went last time when all the **** kicked off. Going with some of my sons and friends. You going yourself?
everywhere you go everyone will know you're ****ing ****tt " you're **** the lot of yer **** offffff"
Deary me. And Leeds fans wonder why they are disliked. No matter what team you lost to in the Cup, you shouldn't react like that to your team who are coming over to THANK you for your support. It's embarrassing. What a way to spur on your side for the rest of the Season, sure they're all feeling so obliged to try their hardest for you after that
Hull Tigers don't have an away support so you don't know what you're talking about, and also its **** all to do with you, so **** off
Yes mate, I was there last season too! That idiot pushing over Kirkland is partly why we only have the upper tier this season. Partly due to Moody's murder in Sheffield, maybe the plods are expecting tension between both sets of fans??? Where /do you go for a beer before the game? I will let you know where abouts I am sat, maybe we could start a not606 section!! (My tickets only arrived today) I think I am 3 rows from the front (depends how they letter/number their seats).
I think everyone's immediate reaction was the same. McD got tactics wrong. If you were to actually look at it from a footballing point of view though and analyse where we actually went wrong you can't really look past Matt Smith imo. I know we should releastically be able to win this game regardless of what players we picked (and not to be offensive to Rochedale because they played well). Others had poor games as well like Pugh and Austin to name just a couple but we just play just a one dimensional direct style of play when Matt Smith is on the pitch. I don't think this is instructed from McD but its just the easy option really isn't it. If you were a defender who wasn't entirely comfortable on the ball and you had the option to try and work it down the wing or through the middle or just pump it up to the giant up front what would you choose? Our midfield was cut out of the game when we had the ball, they could not get involved because of it would just sail over there head. Murphy and Austin didn't come to look for the ball enough either but were still available and if all else fails play the ball out wide and work it that way. We really did miss Mowatt of all people and have done in the last couple games I've seen, he comes and looks for the ball, passes it and moves and then is available to receive it again until an opening presents itself. I don't think all is lost just because of this game, I think our first team when blackstock was here did seriously look good enough for something, the back-up didn't and now we are seeing the backup play in the first team and thats why we are losing games. We never look good with Smith on the pitch and personally, for now at least, I would restrict him to being an impact sub from the bench until his overall game picks up. We need to sign a striker imo. more so than a winger. I would also drop Pugh after that game and bring Warnock back, yes Pugh has done well but who are we kidding, warnock is clearly the better player.
The players would probably respond "ah but we haven't got the benefit of stuffed brown envelopes to help us win".
For me there was a tipping point with Haigh last week, he rolled out the spin one more time and so far hasn't delivered one iota of what he claims. Any fool can spout ****e, at the end of the day we are a football club and all that matters are results and quality of play. Until both improve he is all talk.
Yeah I was in the upper section last time and I had double vision in one eye after a drunken fall down the stairs, I saw two players and two footballs all match. I thought the tickets had arrived a few days ago but they were tickets for a Beyonce concert(not for me I might add) so I don't know where I'm sitting. There are 11 of us going, we travel with the lads at the Plantation pub, so that'll be where we're drinking after the game, then I've to fly back that night the rest of them are staying till Sun. It'll be a bit tight time wise for a drink before the game because our flight is due in around 9.00 and we've to get to the coaches before 11. I'll let you know when the tickets arrive and where I'm sitting.
Shocking. Being from a lower league pub team myself, I could have told you Rochdale were a decent side...but would you have listened...erm...
Ffs Its the FA Cup Shocks have always happened and always will. Well done Rochdale, got to be great for there fans. If fans can't take a defeat then they shouldnt go . I wouldn't react like those ' fans ' if we got beat by a non league club
