  1. Another judgement that is far too early. Like Soldado, he's had to play under a manager that likes to put square pegs in round holes. Spurs never played to the strengths of Eriksen or Soldado.

Soldado is average. His strengths are supposedly his finishing, yet we've seen him spurn chance after chance these last few weeks, his meant to be in his prime and has plenty of caps for Spain. He should be doing a lot better, regardless of system.

    2-0 should imagine all over.

was wondering if Rosicky had fecked up there as he was slow but good finish.

    Soldado is mince

Eriksen however is a class act

  8. I've not watched much of Spurs this season but they clearly aren't bad players. I just think it is harsh to judge them considering the actions that AVB took.

I've seen enough of Soldado to say he's not going to make it in the PL IMO

  11. Fair enough, you might be right. However, a lot didn't think Kuyt, Lucas or Felliani would during their first seasons. Of course, there are far more that look dodgy and don't make it <ok>

Soldado is 29 so really doesn't have time on his side, + 27-30 is typically known as the strikers "prime".

Eriksen however you can see will only get better. He's no Coutinho though <whistle>

Also, seems as if Sherwood doesn't fancy Lamela either? People knock the Carroll deal but Lamela can't even get on the pitch!

Walcott has his world cup place to win back form Townsend?...

Anyone else place Townsend ahead of Walcott? <yikes>

  15. You are of course right about the age thing. I can't say anything different considering I've been saying similar for Aspas who is a bit younger.

I'm not saying Soldado will come good, all I am saying is he hasn't had a fair crack so far since AVB didn't play with true wingers and when he did he put them on the wrong sideso they would cut inside creating a shooting opportunity for said winger. From the 60+ goals Soldado got in Spain, only one was from outside the box. Put simply, he needs the service. I expect him to be much better under Sherwood because he is playing 442 with two wingers and Eriksen in the middle too, that should create ample chances for him.

Eriksen, giving the backing and time, will become a quality player IMO.

Lamela is another one that I think needs to be giving the managers backing. Play him week-in-week-out and he will be a very good player for them. Hopefully, Sherwood will continue to **** both Lamela and Eriksen about <laugh>

WTF Walcott goes off injured and holds up his hands to WUM the Spurs fans

    FA ban please

  17. Why not both...? They don't even have to be fighting over the same position. We don't have too many pacey forwards to pick from. I can only think of Defoe.

If Walcott is genuinely injured, do Arsenal actually have a fit striker?

Why not Sterling, he's been better than Townsend of late. However, when fit, Walcott everytime.
