He is correct though using your logic !! We took 350 - 400 to Newcastle and i only know of 1 person that has gone (respect). Most of us plastic armchair fans didnt fancy the trip due to the cost and the 2 other away's this month. The main reason i didnt go was due to the **** football we were playing, if only they had sacked malky earlier !!
has everyone lost the fact we went away to Newcastle today and beat them 2-1? I come on expecting a happy bunch and all I see is the only Cardiff fans are those who were on the bus. Football is enterainment, those who want and can afford it might travel away but I can think they do a lot more than go to the games...what about the dads spending time with their families. Its a drinking binge, an opportunity to have a lads day out. Every person living in Cardiff shares in any success the team can bring from being in the premiership it is not just about a few hundred who can afford to spend a lot of money going to games...that is an insult to those struggling to pay basic bills with families. jck
John, what goes around comes around. Just remember, the people you are slagging off are the you of yesteryear. At some point you'll stop travelling (or watching) and be no better than the rest of us. TBH I have more respect for the guys that have gone before, watching 3rd and 4th tier football. I could call you a glory hunter, chasing city all over the country watching top flight football but will show you more respect than you've shown others. No nerve hit, just seeing you for the shallow person you are. You are fortunate that you can do what you do today. Some people, for a variety of reasons, are less fortunte than you.
