I'm afraid I disagree with that Butts. I really think we need to improve a good deal to be in with a shout and that means bringing in some proper players.
I disagree. We are looking at a playoff at best, and even that looks unlikely given the last few results.
"BAE goes for a shot, which has ricocheted off the side of his foot" "Coleman gets down the right hand side, he outpaces assou ekotto" Hill clears one off the line
So there we go, our first team is getting embarrassed by Everton reserves. Now we will have to pick up those players for next week. Bad team selection and Hitchcock not even on the bench.
25 attempts on goal/12 on target to our 2/0 and now we replace Austin with with Benyouin, looking to batten down the hatches and keep it respectable....
I don't, its not as if this is a shock, everything is happening as expected. The only surprise is no major injury yet.
Nonsense, I bet you were rubbing your hand together greedily hoping for an Austin cruciate injury, just so you could whinge about the selection. Maybe we shouldn't select our 1st team V Ipswich next week in case they get embarrassed again?
We were almost certain we would lose but the worry is how we would cope with PL footie were we to get promoted. Looks like an overhaul in the summer, promotion or not. Really hope they don't score again.
I didn't see anyone expecting a 4-0? I'm glad you're enjoying it though Flyer- bedecked in your Chelsea shirt, glass of wine in hand.
Come on, we only do play a role because of TF who has already spent a fortune. The latter is a business man and will not want to waste more money on a small (the best ) football club in London unless he can make some money out of it and of course earn some reputation among his millionaire friends. Get real and accept that he will not want to spend much more money and I believe all we do miss right now is a second decent striker - we will manage to go up with that team and that is the only goal which we should have.
