Where did he say 'all' Liverpool fans. To me, the context implies the people who have gone at him on twatter not all Liverpool fans.
I don't follow Cundy but I suspect he doesn't just comment about Liverpool so that is why he is in a better position than any of us to comment. There will be an element of generalisation of course but he can at least have an opinion on it. At the end of the day, if someone like Thompson came out and said say United had the most bitter fans you'd be ****ing loving it!!

I'm not on twitter but I go on to have a look if a story comes up that catches my attention just to see the context etc. I've never heard of Cundy so what he says he's welcome to say - it is after all his opinion which he's entitled to. My first point on here, and the reason for the thread I believe, was to say why give newspaper inches to inciteful rubbish like this. Keep it on his no-mark show or twitter but out of general media. I couldn't care less who thinks which fans are the best/worst/most bitter etc etc so as for me 'loving it' - no it's too trivial to be worth any emotion. The other point I made was the irony of the comments given that Chelsea fans aren't whiter than white either - again it's a big 'so what' - but we're on a discussion forum so I'm discussing the news of the day!

I dont deny that the majority of regular pundits do tend to be lfc or manc based but to be fair those two clubs have been the most successful in english fooball and therefore most likely have the most fans and more people casually interested in them. As tv is about ratings then I am sure this link is not by chance. Therefore as the successful cfc stars retire they will be more selable.as pundits than many of the previous cfc players ( I presume / guess).

On his twitter account Cundy was going on about the Liverpool fans reaction to Suarez not getting a penalty, which was what the comments stemmed from, no vitriole just bitter jibes about refs and former players as pundits. Where do you get that we've got more on twitter btw. I though Rio F had more followers than all ours put together.
