No matter how bad Pompey have been. There are 2 teams worse. You have it in you to win the odd game here and there, grind out some draws, and that should be good enough to survive.

Apparently he is going to let his hair grow until he scores the next one, just like Tom Huddlestone!

I don't like Pompey being where they are. You can't take the piss out of people you feel sorry for.

Being cruel to Pompey is now like kicking puppies...all the fun has gone out of it.

Apparently some money is being spent by Pompey next season to try and get their ground back up to capacity. Some positive news for once.

Having been taken over earlier today by Belgian businessman Roland Duchatelet, worth £480m and owner of Standard Liege...

...Charlton sign Astrit Ajdarević, from Standard Liege. Six month loan.

We've already been spending money on improving the home of football. We've got a new big screen, new coats of paint to make it look nicer and new HD TVs in the concourses, showing live football results at half time as well as highlights from the first half! Yay

The parents of one of my boys' team went to the Pompey v Cobblers game at the weekend. They couldn't believe what a ****hole the whole area was and how nasty the Pompey fans were. Their words not mine.

Chelsea's Patrick Bamford who has been on loan and banging goals in for MK Dons, is now going on loan to Derby. This is the kid that scored four or five against us in the Youth Cup a season or two ago while at Forest. This kid can score goals for sure and it will be interesting to see how he does at Derby. He could end up being one of those players who could be bought on the cheap if Chelsea never consider him for the first team. One should keep an eye on him.

Fratton itself might not be great (then again, that applies for most football stadia except for new out of town ones or ones built as part of big projects with hotels, etc) but Gunwharf Quays is amazing! I do think we should really get rid of the barbed wire though, it's unnecessary and makes it look a bit dodge.

Gillingham vs Wolves on SS1 now. Aaron McCarey makes his debut in goal for Wolves.

Regular goalkeeper Carl Ikeme has broken his hand.

Kenny Jackett says back-up keeper Wayne Hennessey told him that he didn't want to play.

.... come on fella finish the story.

Because there is a transfer for him lined up and he doesn't want that to break down if he is injured. The club are also keen for him to go as he is a high earner.

you'll make a good journo you will :D

If the tables were turned, are you comfortable with the fact they'd show less mercy? I know enough of them, this board has gone soft on Pompey and this most certainly wouldn't be reciprocated if the situation was reversed.
