Most bookings for simulation by club (since August 2008) Tottenham - 13 Chelsea - 12 Manchester United - 12 Arsenal - 8 Liverpool - 8 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25586007 Even more impressive, is the great diver Suarez, who is pictured whenever diving is discussed in the news, has been booked for diving less in his Liverpool career than Januzaj has this season. Also Blatter wants a different punishment.
people believe what they want to believe even when facts are thrown in their faces, **** em. did it have a list of Suarez previous misdemeanour's on the end even though not relevant.
The media are a joke, this season we've seen dives from Januzaj, Welbeck, Rooney, Hernandez, Young, Nani, Vidic and Evra. But if Suarez goes down "too easy" because he only had one flying boot to the torso instead of two then that's the only story that will get clicks or sell papers.
Januzaj or whatever his name is has more bookings for simulation this season than Suarez has since being here. There's another article on the bbc using Suarez as the front image. When Suarez deserves a penalty the commentators always ask whether his reputation goes before him, yet the same isn't said whenever it happens to the likes of Ashley Young et al. Probably because he always gets the decision.
Will say, and shocked really, is that maybe, just maybe Young's reputation is starting to come into play. I mean Howard Webb, OT, Fergie in attendence, United down, and nothing given when Lloris came charging out.
well they ****ing made a big deal out of it and every ****er has said should have been a pen, same support given for Luis when he should have got pens or opo sent off, of course fecking not. he's a cheat remember, oh and not English.
Which city? If you are talking about the Hull one, i thought the same thing. The ball had gone and then he got taken out, nothing given. Clearly in the box and bearing down on goal too.
Webb has had a few shockers over the Christmas period. The FA really need to take a long hard look at him if he has aspirations to go to the WC.
No need to look at him - he just MUSN'T go! He's the Emperor's New Clothes, the most overrated piece of cack to ever officiate at the top level and he's bottled every big decision that may make him unpopular ever since he entered the game. Utter ****.
I'm impressed... half way through the season and mourinho's team only booked for diving twice? Past mourinho teams would be in double or triple digits by now.
For me Hazard and Oscar are serial divers, they go down easier than a cold pint on a hot day. Ramirez loves a dive too. I would love to see retrospective actions against those who kick the defender and go down, that is premeditated cheating. Ramirez v West Brom should have been a booking for diving. The SFA tried to do this but was told by UEFA to stop, ridiculous. Welbeck should have been booked v Spurs and Hernandez v Newcastle. United should have at least 6 bookings.
interesting stats guys! Is this a case of being accused of something wrongly or being so good at it you don't get done for it... suarez gets done for mouthing... bale at al... are so bad at it they flop obviously... suarez feigns injury and exaggerates contact which annoys fans. in short their players should stop fouling but fans ignore that.
