But he was also talking about the aftermath of Chelsea games. If the game is on Sky then they try to have someone to represent each team; ie a ex-Chelsea player as named above. Sure, they don't appear on MOTD (Poyet too BTW) every week but then, neither do half the player Mourinho mentioned, only two of them do in Hansen and Lawro with the latter being a complete prick that doesn't recognise or respect the hand that fed him!
Cundy is right though, you've got some of the biggest internet titheads around Ask any journo or radio presenter who's had the temerity to say or write something that the rawk cult choose to take offence to. That's not meant as a pop at any of you lot or the many thousands of proper reds who are out there either - it's just that your lunatic fringe appears to be greater & more vociferous than most IMO.
every club has fans who are bellends tobes. utd have some of the worst i have ever seen, the bile they spout about us, and yes it is reciprocated, so its swings and roundabouts, just funny that yet again its our club used to highlight bollocks that goes on every where.
He was giving his opinion based on his own personal experience & you've got to accept that for what it is mate. He's got no reason to single out Liverpool, he's merely stated that they give him the most vitriolic abuse
So what point is being made here? Do the beeb trawl the cosmos for ex-Liverpool players to have on their shows because we all know how some waffle on a TV show seriously affects the outcome of a game played six hours earlier? They're just talking heads ffs, it's not as if the officials all came from L4 is it?
There are way too many clown pundits on the tv now and most of them were **** players that never won anything like this fool. Collymore would be another one. It must be hard for the chavs to find an ex player that has won a few trophies though considering their club was a nothing club until the ******ed Russian bought them.
My personal experience is that the most vitriolic abuse comes from Everton fans and the most death wishes come from Man Utd fans. You'll just have to #accept that for what it is.
Wonder when Jose will point out that there are too many ex-Man Utd players managing in the premier League too #realproblems
Sure, I'll take that for exactly what it is. The bitter ramblings of some plastic no mark, who's greatest joy in life is neg repping on a football forum.
So why add 'personal experience'? It's going to be fairly obvious that they abuse you as all you do is bait those fans. Cundy has a right to his opinion and obviously as a talkshow host he has far more experience with a variety of fans than any of us do, regardless of how much of a tit he may be. Of course, but he's not wrong. The majority of regular football pundits are of Liverpool/United heritage.
It is strange how one's own side are always lucid and objective and everyone else is blinded by bias.
You would say he's not wrong, your a Chelsea fan If you are restricting the pundits to just MOTD or Soccer Saturday then yes but surely you realise that more often than not a Chelsea game will have Chelsea pundits? The only teams that miss out are the smaller clubs like Everton It is not as dominated as Jose made out, I have listed at least a dozen ex-Chelsea players/managers that are often seen as pundits, I've not even considered the ones that write columns in the tabloids etc. Plus, as I said above, what exactly was Mourinho trying to achieve by saying these comments? Do you serious think he gives a **** who the pundit is? Never mind what they say
It's probably because a large proportion of those at a certain age, who were high-profile players, played for Liverpool. How many of the younger generation of pundits are ex Liverpool? And once again, seriously, what the hell does it matter? What influence do they have on games they blab on about after the event?
But it's a fact mate? The names listed are all on every single week without fail. Not just sky and bbc, BT Sport too. You may well have seen former Chelsea players on there from time to time, but they're not regular pundits or as Jose put it 'Chelsea men'. I will give you Wilkins and possibly Gullit but nobody else.
