Agree with every point except the bold one - Quinn schooled Ellis Short in "football" business terms and he said we always had relegation clauses in contracts to cut wages to ensure the club did not suffer the problems Newcastle (and Leeds) did. I very much doubt that Ellis would change this now - particularly when you look at our situation.

Can;t see him coming here - he's a twat anyway (nothing against his football ability - just can;t ****ing stand the dirtly little bastard!!)

 

As I have said before personally I cannot stand (vermin) Defoe but he or somebody like him is exactly who we need. I just hope this not a wind-up or BS!

The reason he would come is firstly on loan..secondly he wants to start games to have a chance of playing in Brazil. I agree his wages will be high but perhaps we can offload some of the useless ones, e.g. Johnson, Ji, Wickham, Gardner, Vaughan etc.
