Somewhat depends if he is about to get an enforced three game holiday or not. Doubt he will be fit for Saturday anyway.

With all due respect a referee does not have or need to have the same level of athletic performance as a professional footballer.
I'm sorry Tom but it seems you are more desperate for a good cup run than anyone I know. You really think that being in he transfer window makes it ok to risk a player?
I am hoping that we take this Cup seriously, the start of our rot was the defeat against Sunderland, we could have won that game with a full squad, but losing it at a time when we were on a positive run, in my opinion created doubts, affected the morale of some players and although we reacted by beating Hull, the damage had been done. A bit of respect for a major Cup wouldn't go amiss. However if it is true that only 6,000 tickets have been sold, that would indicate that the fans aren't interested either and no doubt, the team put out will reflect this. I would love the opportunity to see NC at Wembley with an empty seat next to him reserved for ML, and Adam standing in front with the FA Cup. Just a dream, well maybe.
I am desperate for a cup run. Seeing teams like Wigan, Swansea, Bradford get to Wembley last season and Cardiff the season before has made me really want to take the FA Cup seriously. And I haven't seen Saints get to a final of a major trophy in my lifetime. And I had a family commitment when Saints got to the JPT final so I couldn't even go to that.
Don do you seriously believe what you wrote above? We lost the cup game to Sunderland, started the rot, but lets ignore the fantastic Hull performance that followed as that was just a positive blip? Really? Sounds a wee bit far fetched if you ask me.
I want us to win a cup too, however I have to take. A balanced view. If the 3rd round was in 2 weeks time, I'd say "great, go all out." Right now that is not the right thing to do after such a hectic schedule.
So they were because of the Sunderland loss and the Hull game was out of context and form at that time? Sorry mate, but that just sounds crazy. My in-laws are season ticket holders at Wigan. Not once did they say that their positive cup run helped their league form and I don't think it does, or vice versa.
I would like to see Matt Targett rather than Foxy, there have been many comments about him being the next Luke Shaw, but no opportunity to see for real. I would also like to see Harry Reed get some more pitch time, and big Sam G, but I still prefer a team strong enough to get a result from Burnley, some say the top six in the Championship are better than the current bottom six in the Premier, so this not going to be a walkover. Just don't want us getting in to the losing habit, whoever we play against.
Yes, but they did win the FA Cup, it is sad that they were relegated, but did the Cup run really affect that, or was it for another reason? Who knows, we could spend years debating it, and never come to an agreement.
But you were suggesting a negative cup performance can affect league form. Or did I mis-read your post. If you did mean that, you can't have it both ways?
