Again Rob, point of view. Yes we are passing the ball, usually across the pitch or backwards but hey, at least we are passing. We are not passing the ball forwards and scoring goals, which is the point of the game.
I did not wish to begin personal insults like you but that just shows your limited small town intellect. My work and personal choices have taken me away from Norfolk but for many years i was season ticket holder and watched Norwich play some amazing football, especially in the nineties. What we are watching now is disappointing to me. As i continually state, it is my opinion. I have been supporting Norwich for more that 40 years, I have seen good and bad managers, in my opinion we now have a not so good one. As for the points so far, we are well behind the points total we had this time last year and that does not make me feel comfortable.
I do not know you Rob and I do wish to know you but contrary to your own belief, my opinion is just as valid as yours

I have supported Norwich for more than 40 years and I always will, I only want success for my team, regardless of who is in charge.......OTBC.

With all due respect, do YOU actually watch many of our games? And do you watch many other PL games, because if you are so adamant that we are the worst then I suggest that perhaps you don't .
You say that all the teams below us are improving - even Sunderland who just lost at home to Villa, or Fulham who got their arses kicked 6-0 at Hull? Or do we just ignore those results at they don't fit in with your propaganda?

I'm with Rob, all sounds a bit WUM if you ask me <ok>

Go on, point to where I of "limited small town intellect" (?London or Norwich the "town" you questionably profess to support) have personally insulted you and I will gladly apologise. The only person bandying round insults and suggesting others are not true fans is you.

As I said, if all you want to see is the ball in the net frequently, there are other sports for that. Football is much more.

I find it remarkable how often those who lambast, rage, are sarcastic towards and attack other posters, use questionable statistics and hyperbole (of either side of the debate) are yet the first to scream "you're just not allowing me to have an opinion", despite all evidence being that they are the ones denying the spectrum.

    Last chance:
I'm astonished that you think it's acceptable to accuse a fan of not watching the matches when you consider how limited your own opinions are. If you do watch the matches, you are either stubbornly biased against Hughton or just incapable of understanding football. Style is not the same as excitement or getting results. If you think style is about getting the ball into the net with regularity, then I suggest you watch basketball instead of football. Our style has markedly improved, my Aston Villa friend and multiple other opposition fans that you can see for yourself online describe us as a "passing" team at the moment. OK, we're not Swansea, but you are deliberately lying to yourself if you think we are anything close to as bad as the likes of West Ham. I believe even Carrabuh is on record as accepting that our style has improved. I've already stated that I wanted Hughton out at the beginning of December, so don't even bother resorting to the patehtic "happy clapper" tag. The fact is our football style is better, we hit fewer longer balls and more passes than last year. You can accept that, or just lie to yourself, up to you.

You obviously don't get the "point a game thing". You do realise that we have gained a point a game while playing teams in the top eight?? If you remove those teams from the equation, as you seem intent on doing here, we have actually received 19 points from 12 games, which would put us on course for a total of 48 points before playing our last four matches. You're most welcome for this helpful and objective calculation.

You are contradicting yourself. You sir air using questionable statistics and hyperbole (obviously you got a dictionary for Christmas) Read last paragraph above. The fact is we have got 20 points from 20 games. We gained a point a game against top eight teams and are dropping points left, right and center against the teams that you say are worse than us.

Then look at the first sentence of this post. "I find it remarkable how often those who lambast, rage, are sarcastic towards and attack other posters"

    "limited your own opinions are"

    "incapable of understanding football"

"so don't even bother resorting to the patehtic "happy clapper tag"

You are accusing me of not watching matches, you are attacking me, you are using sarcasm against me. Like I said, small town , limited intellect

    <doh>

You brought in the ridiculous statistics and I demonstrated how ridiculous they were by turning them on their head with a deliberately ridiculous alternative. I even said as much. Do I really have to spell that out to you given how intelligent you proclaim yourself? 20 points from 20 games means that more of the same means 38 points from 38 games. I don't see how that is difficult to comprehend.

And yet despite all the written evidecne being before you, you proceed to ignore the fact that you were the first to accuse me of not watching matches <doh>,. For the record, (a) telling you your opinions are limited is a demonstrable fact and is neither lambasting, raging or being sarcastic, (b) it's good to see you've gone for the WUM special of quoting me out of context and (c) telling you not to resort to the pathetic "happy clapper tag" is not an insult by any measure.

The only one getting personal is you. And given that you keep referring to me being from a "small town" I can only assume that my original interpretation of you as an Ipswich fan is correct. And you are the most arrogant and abusive of all the Binners I have come across on here. I don't like them particularly, but at least they don't try to patronise without any basis and they accept when they are the ones who are swinging their dicks.

I should have heeded my own counsel earlier - toodlepip Ipswich WUM <ok>

Sadly, just another round robin of the same old opinions. I don't see the point anymore.

In their last six matches Sunderland have got six points, including three away to Everton. Just how is this improving dramatically?:
They have two point from three home matches against us, west ham and villa.

I honestly do not see where people are coming from when they say we have suffered badly from injuries.

We've not suffered anymore than anyone else, we have hardly been decimated. Nobody is playing out of position, nobody is playing who would generally be excluded from the squad.

Who are we missing who is a dead cert to start week in and week out? Nobody as I recall. Howson possibly and Pilkington has always been in and out under Hughton. We have Wes and Redmond, if Redmonds not good enough to play then you should be pointing the finger at who signed him for the squad.

I would imagine most teams will have two considered first teamers out each game through injury or suspension.

I personally think alot of you are barking up the wrong tree, its a contributing factor but its really no more an issue than at any other club.

My postings on this site have never been directed personally at anyone, unless i was replying to a post directed at me. (except the binners a few times)
I believe that everyone is entitled to an opinion. There are those on here who believe they have a divine right and what they say is gospel. They believe they are the fonts of all football knowledge, even though they are probably in their late 20's or 30's. That is their prerogative.
These people and these attitudes reflect life itself. i have encountered many of them during my life.
i fully understand some of the pro Hughton arguments and we are all guilty of being selective when it comes to statistics. Never the less, if someone wishes to attack me personally be prepared to be challenged.
Yes i am very anti Hughton and was way before the end of last season. I believe he is not the man to take this team forward and in the last season and a half he has, to me, he has justified that belief.
Only time will tell, well approximately 4 months. I do not wish to see my beloved Norwich City back in the Championship.

Evening all, no matter what you think about Hughton, it is pretty obvious he will be here for the rest of the season IMO. We are just going to have to see his things turn out. Fingers and everything else crossed!

I'd also say, given Royals overated opinion of the players his argument goes against Hughton.

With those descriptions we should comfortably be in the top 10.

I know you probably won't agree, but I think the fact that we're missing Tettey and Howson from midfield has had a massive impact - especially as Fer is now sitting deeper and not feeding balls to Hooper. As for Redmond (I know you don't rate him and he does have a bit of a 'headless chicken' attitude), I'm sure he wouldn't be playing every week were E Bennett (I forgot, you don't rate him either) and Pilks fit.

I don't envisage we'll be seeing a new manager at CR any time soon. I'd certainly LOVE to see some changes to CH's assistants though!!!

Of course we miss them, but the point I'm making is we are no different to most clubs and we have cover with players that are not a huge drop in quality. Pilkington is alot better than Redmond granted, but to be honest I don't think Hughton would agree with that statement.

No more bloody wingers please, as for Rodwell we already have enough of those types.

We need clever players not physical players.
