Young must have got half a dozen penalties when no one touched him,Moynes should be man enough to admit young got his just rewards.
To be fair the OP is right. If you are a serial cheat like Young, a ref is always going to naturally be more wary of giving pens. Reap what you sow and all that...
I agree. And therefore Oscar should get nothing next time he is fouled. And Bale (now he plays for Madrid).
Its not that they should get nothing next time they are legitimately fouled. If it is blatantly obvious then the ref should call it how he sees it. What they are saying is, in 50-50 decisions where the ref isnt entirely sure, if the player has a history of play acting, it is bound to influence his decision on whether to award the foul or not.
It was never a penalty anyway, Young was mid air doing the matrix before the keeper touched his foot and the ball was in the 6 yard box before there was any contact.
Irrelevant..Dangerous challenge regardless of who or where it was. Young's rep influenced the decision but don't say it was never a pen?
It wasn't dangerous play it was a keeper coming out, sweet jebus you make me laugh, last week Young went in on the keeper studs out and leg off the ground and it was judged a "coming together" "young had a right to go for it" now this week it's "the keeper fouled him" "the keeper was playing dangerously" when it's the keepers turn. It was not dangerous and it was not a penalty.
You really are a stupid poster. People have said it in the past but I've never really paid no attention to it. If your biased, just laugh an say "tough ****".. don't try to reason it with nonsense "facts" So a knee high challenge is not dangerous...OK....
It's easy to paint a horrific picture with a still frame. Very easy to give the wrong impression, I seen the game and watched the replays. It was nothing like how you think that image portrays it. They were both going for a ball young crossed it and the keeper slid towards him but you can see even in that image that he keeper came nowhere near to hurting him, he tries to block the cross or shot and continues sliding, it was pissing wet wasn't it? Young was never in any danger but because you have a player raising his boot then it must be a foul, it aint black and white and Webb saw it the other way, all of a sudden you mancs are not happy with Webb. If Eto can stay on the pitch for what he did to Henderson then that was never a foul
Probably just going off Eto`o reputation, he is not known for fouling so the ref just figured it wasn`t a foul. Shame we don`t have refs who call what they see instead of going off something they saw in slow motion three months ago.
Could have easily 'fixed' it with all your divers as well like Rat Boy and Stevie Me. All clubs have them and sooner there is a greater punishment than the potential reward for diving the better
