    For a laugh I've just been reading Lawro's "Who needs what?" article on the BBC website. 8 of the first 9 teams he's covered need a striker apparently.

    Tuttosport are very well connected in Italy, so whilst people on here are pretty tired of this one as it enters it's third transfer window, it looks like we'll have a few more weeks of it to come until Astori leaves, which is expected this window.

    Would be very happy with Astori, it's certainly an area that needs strengthening. Not holding my breath for any activity though.

    That seems rather low for Puncheon, but if he likes it at CP why not let him go. It's not like anyone's going to pay 5 million.

    Yeah, I don't think that it's a decision that we can make, just that he's a nice low-cost/medium-production player, similar to Davis in that respect. Hard to get a Puncheon-level player for 750k in the open market, though if Sharp also leaves, we should have a tonne of payroll flexibility when summer rolls around and the lower division holdovers reach the end of their contracts.

    Nicola is not great on letting someone else have a bargain...he stoods in the way of Punch's move before...luckily for us as he came back and did well.
