If I said at the start of the season "Our first win will be against Man City" or "Our first away win will be against Everton" I'd have probably got justifiably banned from this board for delusions. We have lost one from 6 in all competitions and that was at the end of a very difficult week including 2 VERY hard away games and our home game against a Villa side who had 2 home games in 2 days. OK we were by far the better side when we giftwrapped then unwrapped that present for them but we had a goal which (IMO) was level, chalked off and they should definitely have been down to 10 men for the last 15 minutes which could've made a difference for us as well. I'd say "Harsh but fair" but it really isn't. It's not Harsh at all
How's ya ankle hop a long? Speaking of bitches, guess where i'm heading very soon? Beer and slappers, can't knock it. Could be a long night.
Still waiting the op, comm. And still hopping, natch. Have fun with them slappers, though. Ruv you rong time, big boy
Marcus "First win against Man City". Do we (Newcastle) officially not count any more? Not losing/ conceding if major and just a glance at your goal difference now (-18 after 20 games) compared to when Poyet took over (-11 after 7 games, and the first game took it to -15!) tells you that thinks are a lot tighter in your games than they were. The last 12 games has seen a goal difference of only -3, massive improvement. However, some of those draws really need to be converted into wins now. Do you feel Sunderland are going all out for the win in some of those games? (genuine question as I don't really see much of your games other than highlights).
what a ****ing idiot I am!!!! Yeah you's don;t count cos we always win Anyhow - still, would anyone have thought we'd beat you's, then Citeh and our first away win against Everton (who normally annihilate us down there!)
