It didn't disappoint I got to the Cheese at 11.30 am. Vicky had put a turkey crown in the oven as a contingency for the tits-up scenario! It was sambuca galore as expected. Vicky got there at about 1.00 pm, but still no Roger and Jill. They arrived at about 2.00 pm, already bladdered - not a good sign It got to 2.30 pm and still no obvious movement towards their house and crimbo dinner. I told them I was going home to grind some blow to take round and asked Vic to bring the two bottles of wine and knock on when going round to their house. I thought this move would provide the impetus to get the show on the road.... I got home, ground the blow and made another joint. I put my first new cd on and listened to it. Nothing doing. I then put my next new cd on and the next and the ****ing next. Vic turned up at 6.15 pm and said "Come on". I told her she must be ****ing joking as it was way too late and the two of them must be ****ing spannered. She said Jill was quite pissed, but Roger had left 10 minutes after me and had gone home. I ended up going round. Roger was absolutely scattered and was already screaming at Jill when we arrived. In the intervening 4 hours, he'd eaten all four prawn cocktail cocktails, all the roast parsnips, 4 roast potatoes and some of the turkey. I made a doob and then he got the beak out, which I declined about 6 times. We ate what was left of the dinner, and the Christmas pud, which to be fair, was the best I'd ever had. But apart from some more mutual screaming, Roger and Jill were pretty well-behaved (by normal standards!). That was the last time I saw them until New Year's Eve! The only other thing of note was a 30 odd year old woman being stabbed to death on New Year's Eve about 50 yards from my house. A man was arrested Hope you all had a good time
anything to do with rhc quite possible, bit disappointed really, was hoping for a broken leg or something story lol
I can do without any more breaks thanks My behaviour over the festive period was remarkably low-key by my standards. I didn't fall over once
