I can see Spurs getting back in the race for CL football and was hoping United would do us a favour today.

Btw, where's the Sm!thy thread gone?

Don't worry about the Spuds. United returning to form for this season.

    good result for me.

the further behind us utd are the better.

may give Spurs momentum for top 4 push, so be it, time will tell, but rather have them pip us than manure.

All those good years for them were just a Fergie manipulated blip. This is the true Utd we are now seeing. Average.

Sorry to cause confusion. What I meant was that United have returned to the true form that they have been displaying this season! - rubbish!

Thing is with Smiffy, if you're going to be a wum you should have the bollocks to take it and not just dish it out. Mods were right to ban him just for being a ****bag <laugh>

On topic I'm with DD a bit on this one, a draw would have suited us better because I can actually see the spuds getting back in the top four race more than I can see the scum.

ah i dunno... spurs are decent but i have to wonder cos the utd "revival" reminded me of hodgson a lot.. a few easy games staving off the pressure and the moment a decent side turn up they got beat. I have not seen utd beaten so much at home in 27 years ;)

I can see spurs hammered by a random side soon too i expect inconsistency...

BUT I expect eriksen to come good now the AVB straightjacket is off.

  15. Been saying all seaosn they'd be better off playing 442 and sticking Eriksen and Lamela in for every game. Soldado is a very good striker, out of the sixty plus goals he got in Spain, only one was outside the penalty area; he needs service!

spurs have some decent players, when they click they will be good to watch, just hope we are far enough ahead of them for when that happens for top 4 push.

Erisken is a missed one for me, shame we didnt take a risk on him, esp considering we have Allen ffs for more than he cost.

now now... play fair... you've a new manager but if you expect a run like you got off redknapp you've another think coming. you have all those new players and it seems levy is demanding players to be picked.

you are bound to have an off day. its only natural!

It should not be v arsenal in the cup as thats a big one... but you just don't know.. you play palace at home, swansea away and city by the end of the month. the final two are far more slippery than the palace one but you never know... I'm not talking 6-0 or anything here. you've taken those beatings under AVB, you will play freer but all it takes is a few guys not really responding on the day to the plan....

I won't even go into february where the europe comes with games with newcastle and everton....

all I can say is if LFC can lose 1-3 away to hull then you guys can certina have an off day under a new man... we had no excuse whatsoever for that off day but we had it...

specsavers? Only postulating from whats happened to other clubs like my own!
