Both Januzaj and Oscar have been booked for dives today. You'd think Januzaj would learn, he's had a great game but it will overshadowed by his stupid decisions.
hence my post before the united game, little ****ing ****, he can **** off and i'd not want him new the england team if i were you
Speaking of diving, the new series of Splash starts on ITV 4th Jan. Week after week of Una from the Saturdays in a swimming costume.
They just need to make the punishments higher. Stack yellow cards for diving and do a ban at 2 in a season. Start giving reds for diving and yellows for falling over to easily after a challenge. Hockey does that if you fall over when you are hit and the ref thinks you were embellishing it you get a penalty for unsportsmanlike behavior. Really, almost no one is booked for diving and when they are its normally a player that has little chance of picking up 2 yellows in a game. Until they start really punishing people no one is going to stop.
Man Utd would struggle to put a team out if retrospective bans were handed out. They'd lose half their team after one game. Rim merchants, the lot of 'em.
If it was small clubs like us, Sunderland, Cardiff etc causing the problem, it'd be eradicated in a heartbeat. The fact that Man U, Liverpool and the like are the ones doing it mainly means it will be swept under the carpet. Then you'll get some silly twat arguing that eradicating diving from the English game will give English teams an unfair disadvantage in European competitions as they don't get the chance to practice in competitive environment.
I do sort of understand were they are coming from sometimes. What if they don't move and take the challenge and end up being on the end of a career ender. But you can tell when there is a chance you might get injured. Just running past someones dangling leg isn't going to hurt!
