I reckon he was badly hungover today

or he might have the virus that Johnson and Borini had/have

Either way he was out of sorts today

N'diaye should never have been farmed out in the first place. Basing that on his performance against Toon only, where he was outstanding. He was coming to grips with English football as well and could possibly have turned into better than our current midfield players.

Dunno how many points Cattermole has cost us this season ............ I like the lad but he's beyond defending now.

Whenever you feel he's learned his lessons he ****s up again.

Catts shows glimpses of being a decent footballer. He has quite a few very solid games but he's injured too much. He leaves us with 10 men on the pitch too often leading to him being suspended too often.

Today was another real let down from the bloke.

That said I don't know that Alfie is the answer. I thought the lad was dire bar his physical presence. Every time he went to kick the ball he looked like a ****ing donkey.

He was very poor today, but didn't deserve the booing he was getting from a lot of our supporters.

Spot on that Commo - I wasn't there but it's amazing how short some people's memories are. He has been excellent for us when he's played this season. He has ONE poor game - made 2 mistakes (but atoned for one of them by making the tackle) and he gets booed. He outpassed (and outplayed) Frank Lampard only a fornight ago.

I am a massiuve Cattermole fan and I know he was poor on NYD but FFS, with a large vocal group on your back how well would you do your job if all you'd made is one or 2 mistakes. Agree completely with Poyet - it was better for the atmosphere that he was taken off - BUT (*and I can only go from radio commentary here) when he was on in the first half we created (as a team) far more chances than I heard in the second.

I very much doubt it was a hangover - if it was then he should be kicked out of the club but it wouldn't surprise me if it was the bug Borini and Johnno have had.

Remember - ONE bad game doesn't make a ****e player (and he's only had one bad game this season - not including the Hull one as he was unjustly sent off)

Sorry gus - I was WORKING - what it being New Years Day and a popular gig night.

I;mn here today and, as I said - One bad game does not make him a bad footballer - I saw Christiano Ronaldo play absolutely ****e against Middlesbrough for Man Utd but that didn;t make him ****e - he had a bad day. Was he the ONLY one - how good was Colback? I heard his name in commentary about 3 times in 90 minutes? Borini sounded useful and Mannone had a good game but other than that they all seemed pretty poor on the day (although I wasn;t there due to my gig starting at 5pm in CHopwell).
