Two consecutive wins at OT. Even one with Agent Webb as ref.
Has the Fergie factor finally drained away ??

  3. Tim Sherwood has repeated the trick! Spurs beat Manchester United at Old Trafford for the second season running. Wayne Rooney, confronting Howard Webb, is not happy...
(commentary on BBC Football Live website)

I bet Rooney said something like:-

"Oi! What went wrong, there? What are we paying you for?"

How many times in the PL era have an away team won at OT twice in succession ??

  7. Have we become United's bogey team?

I always felt we fluked it at OT last season and AVB dined out on it for months afterwards. That was no fluke this evening, that was a thoroughly deserved 3 points and every player put in a shift. Well done to the manager for continuing to show balls and go for it.

Tim Sherwood's blue and white army. COYS.

Apart from the Man City debacle we are actually very good away from home.
To think before now I would write this game off as a guaranteed loss.
Happy days! Looking forward to MOTD very much!

Can I open my eyes now? That was a bit of a white knuckle ride at the end.

Would be nice to do Chelsky at the Fridge now.

  14. If he can beat the Goons and the Chavs, I'll start believing that he is the messiah we've all been waiting for, our Cloughie. I will even buy a "Tim Sherwood" Spurs scarf.

How long is our injury list now? It's getting silly. Back to the dark days of Gerry Francis considering putting himself on the bench.

"Apart from the Man City debacle we are actually very good away from home."

That is the sad irony for AVB. He set Spurs up really well for away games.
If only he could have been a bit more Arry-esque at home.

For once, I don't care so much now.
IMHO the current squad will shake off these injuries in a way they
    never could in previous seasons.

  19. And that's what could be Sherwoodie's downfall. Playing gung-ho and winning enough matches to finish top 4 is a very difficult task to pull off.

    Everything in moderation.
Arry-esque at WHL is generally ok. AVB-esque away is equally proven.
