This is something myself and my brother did when we got drunk at a boring family wedding!

The game is to pick a famous film, the Godfather, Lord of the Rings, Watchmen, whatever, and decide which Stoke player would fill each of the main roles.

We did Lord of the Rings, but eventually gave up after we figured out that instead of putting together a crack team of dwarves and wizards, you'd just send Rory Delap up a mountain and have him lob the ring into the volcano from 40 miles away!

Mind you, I still like the idea of Tony Pulis with a big grey beard and wizard's hat roaring "You shall not pass" to a giant, flaming Robin van Persie!

How about Danny Pugh as Frodo?:emoticon-0105-wink: They do look a bit alike.

I think that's what started the whole thing off! And for some reason I can see Robert Huth as a dwarf! And of course Rory De-legolap.

He's gone now, but I've always said that Abdy Faye's movement often looked like an Uruk-hai charging into battle

I thought about Abdy as well but for that John Coffey character in The Green Mile.
