what a sorry excuse that was, the worst performance of the season by a mile. one attempt on target in 96 minutes against a very poor Villa. our passing was rubbish and when we did work a decent position our final pass or shot was utter garbage. Not 1 positive in 96 minutes to gain any hope from, another "easy home game " gone. where does Gus go from here because our tippy tappy approach isnt working.
We'd have won that if it wasn't for the ref. Completely dominated the game in what was dreadful conditions
i tell a lie the one positive that came out of the game was that Villa left there shooting boots at home and our goal difference only changed by one.
We're the bottom team mate, it'll be a long slog until the end with a few setbacks ....... give up if you like, I won't.

It is always against Villa our worst performances though, and they are jammy as they are ****e for weeks then win a game or two then think they are world beaters. and Fulham are 5th bottom even though they are also ****e, so how bad are we, my 7th and last relegation for me I am afraid. They were clueless right through the team, and they keep shooting themselves in the foot nearly every game, we are doomed now this' we have got to win that game ' talk is laughable now.
Colback was the biggest positive for me. Streets ahead of Larsson. Biggest negative was the inclusion of Ji. We have to just go balls to the wall now 4-4-2 Altidore and Fletcher upfront. 3 points at Fulham is a must.
I thought the final ball was poor today. Fletcher and Borini will score goals if they get the service. I thought Colback was great at winning the ball but terrible as creating anything, it has to be him or Catts and not both. It does get worse, some of the garbage we played under MON was much worse than this, apart from a stupid mistake it would have been 0-0 today. Or even 1-0 to us had Giacc's goal stood.
Our manager said that we lack quality....we should sell Ji.Vaughan,Gardner,and Altidore and buy a top-quality goal-scorer!
I rather sell Fletcher than Altidore. fletcher missed again today but not many people slagging him off.
