You can't watch everything they do in the hotel room. Last year it looked like our players had been partying the night before with the way they played!
My team : Szeszny Sagna Mertesacker Koscielny Monreal Arteta Flamini Miyaichi Cazorla Gnabry Podolski
They won't have been in a hotel room as we are playing at home. There was a picture on Facebook yesterday of Aaron Ramsey with his Dad and they were going out to dinner in the day to celebrate his birthday and new years eve as Ramsey junior had an important game of football the next day
Quite a big day today. With City away at Swansea who could surprise us, and Chelsea also away at Southampton, there's a chance for one or both to drop points. Man Utd v Spurs is a lot less interesting as a mid-table clash with nothing to play for
They do stop in a hotel the night before home games. That is why you always see the team arrive in a coach.
I can guarantee you 100% that the players would not have been partying last night.Long gone are the days when Tony Adams used to go out on the pitch half pissed
Happy new year chaps. My new years resolution is to be positive, so positive that i make TT look like A87. Regarding today, any word as to who will be LB? Gibbs is injured, and i'm unsure if Monreal is still ill.
I'd expect Monreal today if he's recovered from illness. Doubt he'll be at 100% though, so don't be surprised if he only plays 60mins or something. Would be good if he started tho as he's the most solid to play in that position clearly.
Wilshere, Rosicky, Walcott, Vermaelen and Monreal have been cleared to feature today apparently, good news if true.
Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Arteta, Flamini, Wilshere, Walcott, Cazorla, Podolski
Quite defensive with both Arteta & Flamini in the middle. Surprised to see Wilshere wide again - unless he's going to play advanced and Cazorla will play wide left? Thoughts?
I say Wilshere is playing there because we have a few injuries, maybe Arsene wants to rest some players for Spurs on the weekend.
