I know I was replying to one, but the question was to anyone. No worries. I was just curious. All the best for the New Year.
I don't want to disrupt this thread, so if you want a more detailed answer you'll need to ask on our board, but the 'decision' to change seems to be based on one mans brain fart.
Tan seems to be the number 1 hate figure in the press and they keep coming up with silly quotes like only sign players with an 8 in their birth date. There is a lot of Cardiff fans who jump on any anti Tan reports, most are still looking for Sam the sham to ride in on a white horse and save us. No one can say that Tan is perfect but without him we would have gone out of business a few years ago. He has paid off our debts, paying for a state of the art training facility, improving our stadium, he gives £1,000,000 to local charities out of his own pocket. On the down side he has changed our shirts and badge but we are still called Cardiff City and our nickname is still The Bluebirds. Does he have advisers ? I would think yes he does but he will make the decisions.
Dai those are the facts of the matter and I for one do not have any ulterior agenda so I can happily agree with you. Football is entertainment and we need characters not all dull boring owners, managers and players god knows we have enough of them. One thing confuses me...this talk about not knowing anything about football as if fans needed a degree in particle physics to understand it. I could take someone who never saw a football match before to the Southampton game and pretty soon they would see that one side was playing football and the other did not know anything about football. jck
Oh dear looks like Joe Lovejoy was a little bit incorrect with his story , Its like reading the Echo from the 1980's. Looks like my bet is about to come in admittedly only at 4-1 but thats better than nothing. Just need Millwall to announce Dave Jones as there new manager and we are really smiling
