Charlie Adam has crocked Paulinho and he is out for a month with ligament damage. Great timing. Could mean we'll lose Livermore. Desperately hope not...Jake has been outstanding.

I thought they had a lot of cover in midfield not counting Livermore. Still not looking good I have to agree.

Jake has been the unsung hero. I know everyone here rates him massively but they've had more wow factor over Thudd. Jake has been the real star in midfield for me and we wouldn't be where we are without him. If he goes back to the anti anelkas recalling Cairney is a must. Imagine fusing Cairney and Quinn, and you've got a left footed jake livermore. Replacing him would be nigh on impossible in January.

Nope it doesn't. Looks like we can say bye-bye to Jake. He must be really pissed off. Liverpool might be his last game for us.:emoticon-0101-sadsm

it will be a mini disaster, there's no doubting that.. he's been an influtential player, an unsung hero.. if sherwood recalls him, i shall wish a thousand curses on him unless livermore becomes an influential part of their team and then we can't really have a go

but i love livermore... but while he is with us.. we love him

but i do fear liverpool will be his last game

Think positively. We dont know that he will be recalled. They have cover or he wouldnt be with us anyway. Lets hope since he will only be out a month that they dont recall him and use what they have.

I know they are different coaches and all but still. Tottenham doesnt sell players at their level for 3.5 mill. If he was seriously in their plans they wouldnt have put that in his deal with us. They wouldnt have put even a 6 mill deal in there with us. They have cover already. If you go to their forums they arnt even talking about recalling Livermore, they are talking about buying new players. I just dont see how a team like them can progress by recalling players that werent good enough for them 4 months ago. Livermore is an amazing player, but to a team like them, Livermore just isnt that special.

logically yeah, but i think we are losing him

i hope to **** i'm wrong but it's sherwood for you, he's an arrogant **** and i think we are losing him.. i hope i'm wrong and you can all laugh at me but.. i don't think you will be

cause if it was case they wouldn't given away huddlestone for such a low price who is better than all their new players

What's in the loan contract ?
Recall option (owner clubs interest) - probably.
Re-recall option (players interest should he not get to play for his parent club for (what ?) 3 consecutive games ?).
Other factors - Does Jake like/get on with Sherwood, or even want to play for Spurs ? Is Jake happy with his lot at HCAFC ? I would suspect there are reasonably tight EU labour laws that may well protect Jake's interest in all of this.

Should imagine Sherwood who has seen Livermore progress through the ranks, will equally have notcied that he stalled in the seniors because AVB (or their technical director or whoever signs the players) played a load of dog **** rather than Jake.

Sherwood will have seen how Livermore has progressed with regular game time at City.

If Livermore were to go, I have to say that I feel Meyler is ready to take his place. Against Chelsea I thought DM looked so out of his depth that he would be farmed out on loan somewhere, but he has gradually progressed and is a ready made replacement.

Quinn is back in light training - let's not forget him also.

As a footnote, will be interesting to see how close Livermore gets to the England squad if he does go back to Spurs, compared to if he stays with us.

Shhhh they might have forgotten about him. We should be trying to persuade them that he is crap not building him up.

Spurs have 13 other midfielders in their squad. Plus I think Bruce would have already been given the news if recall was imminent.
