Fletcher is a very good player.However I know loads of Man United fans that don't rate either Carrick or Anderson.
Before posting pathetic threads why don't you have a read and see who brought United players into it ? United fans are responding to cmments about their team made by Liverpool fans. Is is ok ?
We miss hargreaves Carrick is not as bad as some make him out to be, and anderson is a good squad player and not the 'next ronaldinho' as was quoted in some newspaper when we bought him
1) What you quoted was a post, not a thread 2) Again, couldnt' give a toss about United. 3) Stop going off topic. -- On topic: I guess Gerrard might play less games next season to prevent injury and whilst his not there we could do with someone who can play as a playmaker, creating oppurtunities, taking corners (And scoring them!) aswell as generally linking the midfield with the attack. I can see it working well with Suarez and if you throw in Kuyt into the equation whilst Lucas helps cover the back four it could be a very threatning combination. (Again, apologies to all the Liverpool supporters for going off topic)
You slated United's midfield claiming none of them would get in Arsenal or Chelsea etc first 11. United's midfield has won 4 of the last 6 titles. A bit better than everyone else in the league wouldn't you say?
Actually KPR this is the first post to bring United players into it. Anyway not hijacking your your thread. As stated before if you can get Adams for 5 million thne it's good business but I just don't see that you need him.
tbh, with the centre midfield we have now, i would tend to agree. Carrick maybe at a stretch into arsenals, but thats it.
I can understand where you are coming from but Liverpool are signing him as a experienced, backup player for a good price of under £10m. It would be a good addition and could improve the depth of the squad. Can you stop going on about Manchester United on a Liverpool board? If you want to respond to a user who has found himself swaying off topic I would suggest you ask him to post on the relevant board for a debate. Give over, seriously. Fair enough. But don't you think in the absence of Gerrard we can sometimes lack a bit of creativity in the attacking third? I mean, yes we managed fine without him in the final half of the season, but we sometimes just needed that injection of enthusiasm which was usually completely lost when Meiereles was taken off. Suarez can create opportunities but a midfielder who can link the ball from midfield to the attack (Suarez) would be a good addition. -- Apologies for going off topic... Again!

Poulsen and Cole are likely to be sold. Adam is likely to play in a central role whilst Henderson is likely to play on the right, meaning it won't affect him in the pecking order. Sorry but like I have said, this is a Liverpool, not Manchester United board. I don't need to be a mod to correct someone else's mistake.

I reckon Adam would fit in with the tempo changing in away games.Henderson adds something too with the amount of ground during games he covers,If we could get much needed flair for the other side,then it would be brilliant.However the likes of Adam being a deep lying play-maker is necessary for this to work.

True However I think he will be more of a replacement for Poulsen, i know they are different players, but it fills that position that will be left. I'm just hoping we get a big coo as well.
