super job.. hull are a wonderful side, packed with top talents like bruce and figueroa, with LFC down to the barest of bones and playing a lft full at left wing v chelsea on debut who i'd not pick in our reserves side as no 1 pick.. well i think we've no chance. Now will that make tobes happy... Or do i have to praise lukaku more and then he can ignore that and go mad that I call barkely a genius...
how lucky are we... now we can afford 1million for a loan for cissohko who can't play more than 40mins.... great to be rich!
If I were a rich man, Yubby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dibby dum. All day long I'd biddy biddy bum. If I were a wealthy man. I wouldn't have to work hard. Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum. If I were a biddy biddy rich, Idle-diddle-daidle-daidle man.
We've lost 6 of 9 away, but they were at Chelsea (0-2), Man City (0-2), Tottenham (0-1), Everton (1-2), Arsenal (0-2) and Southampton (1-4). We should have had at least a point from City, Everton and Spurs. We beat Newcastle 3-2 at Sid James' Park and drew 1-1 at both Swansea City and West Brom. Thought some of you would like to know. I think you'll thump us 6-2 tomorrow.
I honestly think tomorrow will be a very frustrating match to watch. Our injuries and squad dept will really show in a game like this I hope we can get the win and hull don't just park the brucie bus In front of us
This "parking the bus" myth really does need busting. We don't park the bus any more than other teams do when they play away. Never have. If you'd followed our progress since Steve Bruce took over - not that you should have done, other than to make yourself look a little more clued-up when making posts about us - you would've known that we've got a well-deserved reputation for trying to take the game to the opposition, even if we haven't really had the strikers to take full advantage of that. Steve Bruce has surprised even us Hull City fans with his tactical nous, flexibility and adventure since he took the job here, so it's understandable that you wouldn't be aware of it either. The thing is, "Big Clubs" always accuse us little 'uns of parking buses, but the fact is, when a small club plays a big club, we're invariably up against players who cost many times more than ours did; effectively, "better players". What are we supposed to do? Just go for all-out attack, get dispossessed regularly, and concede a hatful? When you're up against more expensive players it's less easy to get your foot on the ball and less easy to retain it when you do have it. Consequently, you're pushed back. It's not "parking the bus", it's just an inevitable consequence of finding yourself up against a team with a better standard of players. All we can do is work hard, try to be organised and keep our shape, and hope to nab a goal on the break. It's not bus parking. As you were
Polly, if we believe that you're parking the bus then as far as we are concerned you are parking the bus! We honestly don't care what you believe that you are doing. All we truly care about is firstly getting 3 points and us putting on a good display. Happy New Year
just don't give him a new contract! he stop's working for success and starts working for a pay off and a new club (by linking himself to newcastle) in seriousness HUll have not been too bad on the road but have outworked sides and thats a great way to get success.
they were good v city for sure. the thing is they seem to concede a lot of goals. we were 1-1 until we went as per chasing and not willing to get back and lost a goal. at their place. As per usual... LFC need to score first that'll make it interesting. We concede too... i fancy a high scoring game.
depends if Luis has his shooting boots on, where else we going to get goals from? Sakho keeps hitting the woodwork, Allen and Henderson if fit always look to scared to shoot and Coutinho is a genius with the ball but end product needs improving ie goals.
