No need to mention Alaska, as it is part of the USA. I would say technically Panama is the furthest southern country to be part of North America, even though Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica and Belize are known as Central America, Central America is not a continent, it is an isthmus, which is surely part of the North American continent as opposed to the Southern one.

I forgive you as I'm a fickle bastard who always lost trivial pursuits on the geography question.

It could always be relied upon to turn a nice but boring evening into a fun but rather hostile and volatile one - I'm sure that's what the inventors were hoping for wewhen they brought it out <laugh>

We actually looked after a blind dog over a weekend. It ran about like crazy even though it could see **** all. Banging into stuff. If ye threw a ball it would listen for the thump of the ball on the ground and go tearing after it in the wrong direction. Funny as ****.

I can remember playing a game with the ex-missus and the in-laws. Canny remember what it was called. But ye played in pairs (me and the brother-in-law vs the ex-missus and her sister). Ye drew a card and had to describe to your partner what it was without saying it. If the partner didny get it before the timer ran out the opposing team were allowed a guess.

Anyhoo, my missus drew a card and described to her sister "it's where polar bears live". Her sister replied "Poland". It was the correct ****in answer.

    How's that for lateral thinking?

I bought one of my nieces Don't Panic for Christmas - you have to name a number of things in different catgeories (e.g fruit, capital cities sporting trophies etc.) against the clock. If you think someone's given a wrong answer you can challenge - the challenges were getting ridiculous!

I hope England do very well . The semi finals at least . The better they do and the more they progress the more annnoying and jingoistic the English broadcasting company will become and that can only be good for the yes camp in the coming referendum.

Gary Lineker etc could very well seal the deal for Scottish independence .
