Nothing more to be said. The football has been dire and the results have been very poor. Let's hope 2014 is better.
It certainly isn't a year I'll look back fondly on from a personal of football perspective !! Happy new year to all !
It's been rubbish in almost every respect, not just football.Mrs CT and myself were watching a BBC series about the 70'sa while back and we commented on how they always portray that decade as rubbish.Without the obvious attractions of John Bond,Cloughie and ABBA we only had Thatcher for half a year. Now we have two deformed Geordie dwarves in a jungle and Lord Snooty and his pals in charge.Ain't it great
I think 2010, 2011 and 2012 were all such exceptional years that a normal year like 2013 seems poor in comparison. There have been positives though: Hooper and Fer; the FA youth cup win; securing the money from the new TV deal; an away win against Man City; the emergence of the Murphy boys; the development of Howson and the preservation of Premier league status with what I still maintain was the second worst squad in the division last season.
Surely off the pitch is positive as well? Debt free, a platform to build on regardless if we stay up this season
A mixed year, but not all bad. Finishing 11th was good. Being debt free with transfer money available is even better. On the down side has been the variable results, some encouraging, some disappointing, but bad in my book would be relegation. Happy New Year everybody!
Happy New year to all City fans. Mine is just three hours away, having a beach party just to pee of you cold weather fans.
Alas, we are nowhere near a beach, so a big garden party will have to do. Maybe next year if I can find the cash we can head off down to the southern beaches and party for a week
Happy new Year to all from Mexico. I live 10 minutes from the Caribbean but will be having a pool party , a pleasant 28 degrees here. My New Year is 13 hours away. My hope for next year is survival, i will say no more. Love and peace people
For me it had to be the 4-0 over West Brom. Safe at last after tumbling down the league since the 10-match run.
What's this? You lot are as bad as Vincent Tan. He thinks the number eight can make a difference. You think that the passing of an arbitrary, purely conventional point on a clock face can make a difference.
