coutinho was sick all weak before the hull game. hull want to press hard, deny our crap CBs time on the ball.. the very worst thing rodgers can do is lave agger stranded at lb and shift the muck skertl to lcb where his passing is a total liability. If hull defend deep and let us have it we will play well and advance our full backs. We'll lave lucas (playing dirt) garrard and henderson in midfield so no way is hulls midfield as good period.. however.... huddleston is a workhorse type but his tactics away from home? we'll see.
Haha, yep, cheers for repeating what I said. Still think we've got a decent chance, just wish it didn't come on the back of you losing 2 games. A loss here would mean we'd done the double over you, you'd lost 3 in a row and you could be down to 6th (mathematically 7th, realistically 6th) and on a real slide. So you'd hope your players would be up for it. Just got to hope Bruce (if he plays, if not, someone else) can keep Suarez in his back pocket again, I think the game could hinge on that once more.
Assuming one of Gerrard / Henderson will be fit, I'd go with this team: Migs Ilori - Skrtel - Agger - Johnson SG/JH - Lucas Sterling - Coutinho - Moses Suarez I don't want Agger at LB if it means moving Skrtel over to accommodate Toure and I think Cissokho is dog ****e, more so than Johnson! I'd rather we gave Ilori a shot (or is Kelly available?) Moses is the best of a bad bunch for the left. If Gerrard AND Henderson are fit, then Henderson on the left?
Think you're getting mixed up mate. Thudd isn't a workhorse, he's improved that side of his game but he's no workhorse, far from it. Livermore & Meyler both fall into that category so perhaps you were confusing one of them? Normally I'd agree with your first comparison, but an unfit Gerrard & Henderson as well as an out-of-form looking Lucas, may be a different matter.
Mignolet; Kelly, Toure, Agger, Cissokho; Moses, Lucas, Henderson, Alberto; Suarez, Aspas. We don't have much of a squad but its vital that we use every player we have available and rotate where we can.
Can't take anything away from Hull when they beat us, but its fair to say they'll face a more determined Liverpool at Anfield wanting to make up for the near misses against City and Chelsea. No way we'll not win.
Hull fans acting like Swansea fans last seasons. It's a real joke. The reality is that you'll **** it up like last time
Saint you, me, dave, jb, donga, billy, mito and a few others have lived through the great times and bad and we're still here strong as ever. So don't worry mate.
Yeah, how dare a side who beat you last time, rested the two key players from that victory in their last game*, and who are playing well dare to think that being in the top half of the table, without any major injury worries (since the first game), and having an extra day to recover gives them a chance of getting a point against you if they're lucky and you're not too up for it after being unfortunate recently when you're seeming to have injury problems. *They'd picked up knocks, but were fit and left out the starting line up just to make sure, but they're still fresh legs which is the point.
Few soundbites from your last match thread for our game: "Game we should be winning and I'll expect nothing but 3 points." "hull should be a gimmie" "Hull City 1-4 Liverpool" "Hull are dire" Yeah, we're the deluded one's.
Ah come on mate, with all due respect we had every right to expect to beat you, but that's not disrespectful that's logic after our previous results prior to the game, our recent results make our game against you a priority to win more so than the game at your place.
Yeh pal you are. Cream always rises to the top and the absolute best that you can come up with is curds and whey. Face facts Sonny. How many did you manage to score against United and what was the final result. I ask you it was United and you still managed to lose!!!!
its funny how if anyone says hull are muck... they get annoyed yet. this thread Liverpool v fk'n muck afc. Started by Hull city afc(Kempton)‎, Yesterday 03:38 PM go TIGERS!
Calm down dear, it's only a bit of fun. I should apologise for misquoting you though. You said we were f'n muck, i mistakenly added a k, so fk'n muck.
Yes... aware of your defence... Chester is getting me a tidy amount in my fantasy side I mean weak in the sense that you're not Chelsea, City level. I think on goals conceded you have to consider when the goals were scored. Part of our problem this season has been going a a few goals up then conceding a token away goal later on...they don't matter so much. But when you go one up and concede twice quickly, you have a problem - like we did vs City and Chelsea. Think Brendan will go Cissokho (or Flanagan if fit) at LB, Skrtel and Agger at CB, Glen at RB. EDIT: If Kelly doesn't play, what does that say about him? Surely deserves a chance?
what does it say about a few players to be fair, Llori,Aberto,Cissokho,Moses,Kelly,Aspas,Ibe etc. all of those players dont seem to get much chance or used when we have no choice,Llori hasn't even played has he?
