Looking across their boards they ain't confident about wednesday.

Some are saying it's going to be 4-0 in revenge for the defeat at the KC and to get their top 4 challenge going again after losing to Citeh & Chelski.

Then some of the less deluded posters have then pointed out that we beat a stronger team than they can put out on wednesday quite easily. Plus
our confident will be sky high after beating Fulham. Also we have had an extra days rest.

Commenting that we have given a good account of ourselves away at all the other top six contenders we have played so far.

They think its 50/50 regarding Gerrard playing. Sakho and Allen are out and there are unconfirmed rumours that Saurez could be doubtful on
    twitter.

They are also moaning that Johnson is out of form and could be a liability.

    Bring it on.

Lawro has predicted a 3-0 Liverpool win in his BBC predictions. **** off is all I have to say to that.

His opponent, MOTD commentator Steve Wilson, said a much more sensible 3-2 Liverpool win.

Chances are they win, but one would think we will put up a good fight. A draw would be an amazing result for us.

    Agreed.

Even if they are missing major players and have had less time to prepare.

"Could"? An inform Johnson is a liability to a defence, so how can an out of form one only possibly be one? Although to be fair, although Skrtel got the stick for it I thought the other centre back in the first game was the weak link in that defence on the day, so maybe Johnson's failings normally aren't that evident.

After 2 huge losses Liverpool need to steady the ship. A draw in this fixture is always my wish.

    I reckon it will be either a 1 - 1 or either team will nick it 1 - 0

I totally agree a draw would be fantastic. However all the pressure will be on them to perform not us. If we can fustrate them for the first 20mins so the kop
    start getting restless.You never know!!

I just hope we don't go 2-0 up after 13 minutes like we did against Man U.
2-0 up 5 minutes from the end will do nicely.

The 'revenge' factor could be a big one here; they'll be hurting from losing to lil' old Hull City and want to put it right - we just have to hope something doesn't click right for them again. I'd be delighted with a draw and I wouldn't put it passed us, but think Liverpool will be up for this one and come out all guns blazing - 2-1, 3-1 if Suarez is on form, but would love a nice 1-1.

We have to win away from home again soon. I fancy us to win, to achieve an historic double.

Hold on to your socks, because I think it will be a blinder. I'm not really bothered who plays for them, because it's more about frustrating them. They'll have huge chunks of possession, but they have to meet our brick wall defence. Keep Graham out of the way, let Sagbo hold it up and give Fryatt a start - just the type of game for a bit of trust. If all goes well we need to save good legs to counter a cameo by Gerrard, he can turn a game on a whim, true class. Easy game this!<laugh>

Very true. ^^^^ this. Liverpool looked jaded by the end of the Chelsea game as that and the Man City boxing day game took alot out of them. But i am going for a 0 - 0. A very nice way to start 2014. imo.

Back three of Faye, Bruce, McShane, and whisper in Suarez ear that we're going to kick him up in the air and play "keepy uppy" with him. Liverpool can't afford to be without him for the remainder of the season.

That's about right I would say, if we can get a point, to take 4 points of Liverpool would be amazing.
