    I just don't think your club is that big ....... a guy earlier claimed that outside the big 4 all teams in England would be jealous of the old firm fan base and that isn't really true because their average gate is mid 40,000 which isn't that big compared to the 60,000 that this guy was claiming.......I would say Saints are easily top 15 best supported clubs in England and if you to throw in the old firm then they would not be that near the top

    2 years ago, with a skeleton of a team, a bunch of rejects played in the red and white and thrashed hearts 3-0. shows you just how bad the SPL is.

    I don't really follow Scottish Football, but I'm pretty sure Hearts didn't win the league.

    Isn't the SPL basically Rangers and Celtic - and to win you'd need to be better than both of them.

    I haven't seen Southampton lately, but I think you might be wrong about how poor Rangers are.

    I spend quite a bit of time just outside Valencia for work reasons and go to the Mestalla regularly. I saw Rangers there last winter; they really impressed in the first half and looked a decent team to me.

    Regardless, this is a ****ing stupid argument and I don't give a ****. Fight it out amongst yourselves in hypothetical pointlessness.

    a bunch of random oldies and academy players playing for a club at its lowest league poition for 50 years comfortably beat an SPL side. it shows you how bad the standard of football in the SPL is. my point is pretty obvious.

    Hardly relevant. We've played numerous Scottish teams over the last 5 years in Pre-Season, including Hearts, Dundee United and Aberdeen, and our record is hardly outstanding.

    we'd easily win the SPL, we got money to spend which no other team does......plus our team atm is better than all of them
