He is absolutely dynamic, like a professional wrestler. He has all the moves in the locker and week in week out we see his strengths as a quick outwitting centre forward. That run against reading where he tapped the ball ahead of him and side stepped the defender was totally lloyd dyer all over. Not only his play but his goals too. I remember a last minute 4-3 winner from dyer in league 1. That said, There is always room for improvement, especially in the championship.
He always has been good - ive said this every season. Ive also always said that Vardy was good and that Kermorgant was decent. Ive also always said that 4-4-2 is what we need to play. In fact, looks like im always right doesnt it.
I think one of the major reasons for Dyers success this season is Jamie Vardy. The fact that we now have someone in the team that can keep up with Dyer means he doesnt need to hold his runs as much
Good point actually. A team needs pace & we´ve got that in Dyer & vardy. Dyer should be one of the 1st names on the team sheet as he creates problems for the opposition. I remember him scoring a very good goal v Carlise in the lge cup, be nice if he could do it more often mind, but still served us very well so far. "GET THOSE CONTRACTS SIGNED"
Lloyd was superb today. Destroyed Baptiste every time Fantastic goal aswell 8 for the season for Dyer
He has been an enigma wrapped inside a conundrum ...but I think the penny has finally dropped with our Lloyd.. finally he has come of age
Lloyd was only ever lacking in self belief - he seems to have found it this season and has been arguably our best player - certainly our most potent attacking threat.
Vardy is proving a real handful and has an eye for goal ... shame that he will miss Millwall but he has a real hunger now and will be chomping at the bit to get back in the side ... that's what we need from all of them mind...
Credit where its due, Dyer had a brilliant game yesterday, motm performance. Was i dreaming or did he actually place his shot for his goal? rather than shut his eyes and slice it? When he made that run, i actually shouted out "side netting!" Dyers end product has improved recently, and with his pace, hes defiantly going to be more of a handful to the defenders now.
The cross for Knockaert was pretty good too. He's got a decent shout for player of the month by my reckoning.
