I would like to see more of Alberto, if we go up on Hull, I want to see him get at least half a game. We look tired as is and why I think there may be a change or two coming but want to see some of these players with a proper chance and Alberto looks tidy.
Only reason I said that was because I used to make Liverpool youth teams on Fifa and can't recall ever having Gerrard.
From the U21 stuff Iv'e seen Teixeira (sp?) has stood out as a cut above. Never smiles though,even after scoring. Weird
Apparently he was in bad shape when he arrived here, he had a chronic back problem that was neglected by the Sporting medical staff for way too long and the Brentford manager Uwe Rossler said he just did not suit their style of play when he sent him back to us from the loan spell. He might still come good but its not looking too good.
I really didn't rate Carragher when he first got into the side. It was similar to how I am with Skrtel now; one area that annoyed me. With Carragher, it was when he played at CB However, as soon as he got moved to CB under Rafa he seemed a very different player.
strange, how long ago we talking when you made these teams,and would he have been say about a young 18 yr old in and around our first team and not a youth player?
Rafa was a defensive and organizational specialist. Probably why we had 10 clean sheets under him ( I think or was that wins?). Still wish we would get a coach who specializes in working with the backs and GK. Even Barca for as much as they attack, don't concede very much, CL, la liga, etc.
Only spent a mil so not bad but thought it was strange " the new deco" got let go so easily? One thing I want to see with Illori is this apparent nutty speed he has.
It was before he made the first team. I hadn't really heard of him before that TBH. I knew about Owen in the youth set up a good year before he was near the first team.
Brad Smith looked a little out of depth against Chelsea. Sure it was a tough thing to come on after half time, away against one of the worlds best clubs, chasing the lead... in his non preferred position. He lost too many tackles and missed his passes... however he didn't do anything too bone headed which is a big plus. Not his fault... just not ready yet. He needs to be blooded against less difficult teams first. Its too early for him to play against Chelsea and only got the chance due to us having a too thin squad. Hopefully we can see him in an fa cup game next year... or in an easier home fixture... or he gets loaned until ready.
