It was actually a schoolboy error by one of your lot, mito was talking about the Mancs result against you.

Was it the 'Hull are muck' comment? Don't worry mito thinks Liverpool are muck most of the time <laugh>

Don't ever mention N'Gog to him either ....

The 6 points lost would certainly dent any title hope... but most of us realistically consider top 4 as a big success marker this year.

We've now got the two hardest games of the season behind us... and yes we lost both: but we played some excellent football and looked equal (or at least very close) to the levels of football that Chelsea and City can play.

If we replayed both those games again I would consider 0points highly unlikely. A few minor things going different and it could have easily been 1,2,3,4 or 6 points instead of 0. Things just didn't work out; Two very finely balanced games.

I'm happy with the display (if not the results) and still consider top 4 very feasible. Needed to get more points to look like title challengers though.

That's the thing. To be considered title challengers you have to beat the other title challengers or at least, some of them, or at very least, draw.

its not hash on hull at all.. the first step to improving is admitting you are indeed muck. Hull are a bottom half team so are muck... there's no crime in being muck but thinking you are it and such cos you beat an awful fulham side 6-0 while you've done ok but haven't delivered 40 points yes (23 last count after 19).... well come back in may!

Hull were 2-0 up v the mancs. they then let them have it and threw it away... can't live on beating LFc for long in this division!

JB you are right tottenham and utd are not title challengers... I'm glad we agree so we should focus on beating sides in and around 4th... or at least drawing like everton and newcastle then... oh wait... newcastle are muck and as for everton... small club...

At this point I'd consider city and Chelsea title challengers.

Arsenal doing a good job holding on but suspect they'll be fighting us, Everton and Utd for top 4.

Spurs might surprise everyone yet and finish in top 6.

  13. No need for that MITO. You may not want the Hull fans on this board but since they are our next opponents some of us are happy for them to be here <ok>

Plus, if you are going to call their team muck, you have got to expect them to answer back!

Very very dodgy calling your next opponants muck, regardless of who you are playing there is always the chance you could lose as many results this season have proved. These types of results usually bring the obvious cry from plastics of "we played **** or we were`nt up for it" with no credit at all being given to the unexpected winners.

  17. Its not really dodgy is it since were not going to influence the game. Risky yes as it could back fire, but not dodgy <ok>

who cares. I'll call who i want muck when i want and not apologize especially not to a manc who was nowhere to be seen. a few handy games and hup they up.

Hull.... a bit muck... just go to the thread they started themselves for a match on our baord... calling themselves muck.

I don't think anyone who knows mito would take that as an insult, it was tongue I cheek as far as I'm concerned. mito throws muck around all over the place - mostly on Liverpool!! If rival fans come on and don't get his brand of humour [and why would they if they've never been on our board and aren't used to him] it's hardly fair to tell mito to stop doing what he always does. But I bow to your modship.
