To be fair Shwan I'd rule us out too and I still do. We are currently nowhere good enough to challenge for the title.
have to agree also.i think if we get in top 4 we will be fortunate.i thought at the start of the season a mid table finnish wouldnt be the end of the world, what with new coach etc.and maybe next year challange for the title.but.if everyone keeps taking points off each other.you never know.
me too tbh , I highly doubt we will win it ... but no one can rule us out completely at this stage of the season, who knows what injuries other teams may get or what new reinforcement UTD will have in next transfer window .. let us see vidic, RVP and Rooney playing together again, who knows what will happens? in all honesty, we have little chance to win it, but we can never say we have zero chance of winning it at this stage .. is just too early
Agree. Compared to our past years, the chance is small. And it will need things going for us: e.g lots of draws amongst the other contenders, them losing against the smaller clubs etc but it HAS been a strange season. Size of that chance? The odds for United currently about 10-1 with the bookies with City evens, Chelsea and Arsenal 4-1 and Liverpool 9-1. I wouldn't say VERY small but if we get a good result against Spuds these odds will improve again.
We'd have to spend big in January to challenge this season and I think we all know that's not going to happen
I hope you are ****ing wrong. Everyone can see we need to strengthen relative to City and the chavs. If Moyes and Woodward cannot see that, they should just **** off and United should bring others in. I cannot think that even the Glazers could be that dim and not recognise that the club's standing (and therefore their investment) depends on the club being at the top.
i think we need to incorporate our youngsters more in the first team.bring zaha, powel back.give rooney a free role in midfield and maybe buy sneider.we need to offload nani/young,kagowa,,,,,,shame realy i like kagowa but as no place in the team when rooney and rvp are playing.hernandez should go out on loan to give him more match time.
Was Liverpool's title challenge really ever on? They may have been near the top but they simply aren't good enough.
Very true Berbs, just like Utd, Everton, Spurs and Newcastle simply aren't good enough. Between City, Arsenal and an outside chance Chelsea for the title.
Moyes has said that he won't be spending in January as his targets are not available and he believes when his injured players are back he'll have enough Whereas - Mr Henry has said to Mr Rodgers you can spend in the January window if you feel it's needed, which Mr Rodgers replied thank you very much I'll have a nice shopping spree.
Who Moyes? I think you'll find he did, or something extremely similar. Custard had the direct quote I think….. Come out Custard wherever you are? Probably licking Berb's ring piece, so could be a while.
"We have a lot of midfield players out injured just now, but we won't be doing a lot of business in January because a lot of the players will not be available, so I don't expect it to be a busy January really." You were close, although he never said we would be okay when the injured players were back, he just suggested the players he was looking at wouldn't be available in January, which is probably true.
No, under fergie you could say that, I will certainly rule you out this season. I'll risk a Hansenesque quote "you'll never win anything with Moyes" Unless you count the charity shield
Tikitaka Rodgers is the main culprit in increasing the scousers fans title delusion. After being beaten by City and the Chavs he still thinks they could win the title... No wonder the low IQ scousers have believed... #scousersdelusionremains http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-title-race-says-manager-Brendan-Rodgers.html
tbh , if we had Vidic, RVP and Rooney fit, I think we still have a chance... yes a slim chance but a chance but agree am not hopeful too over jan transfer, but who knows? let us see how we do in 2 days facing Spurs
