Thought he was poor yesterday and has been for a while. We need to buy midfielders in January, when you have to bring in 19yr olds as back up it's not good. Moses - Back up player Henderson - Turning Good for the future Lucas - Past it does nothing, sell Gerrard - Only a few years left Allen - Too lightweight give another season then sell if no progression Ibe - Future? Coutinho - Can't get past the first man, needs 2 stone put on Rossiter - Future? Is that it apart from loan players who are on loan for a reason!!!

Why does everyone keep bashing Coutinho? He put in a good cross yesterday which resulted in our goal. Would only be a good thing if he bulked up a bit though.
At least Coutinho has great skill and a bit of class to compensate for his light weight, Allen on the other hand doesn't.

Allen was poor yesterday but he has been a very good player since his inclusion. Apparently he was playing with an injury yesterday. Continho has been poor by his own standards but he is still such a key player in our attack. There is no way he should be dropped. However I do think he is hell bent on trying to score which I think is clouding his judgement. Lucas is struggling - the style does not suit him and it shows. Personally, I hope Rodgers brings in two midfielders in January - a DM and a box to box.
Lucas has been poor last 2 games admittedly, but that doesn't warrant a label on him as 'past it' does it really? He's 26 man, a bit of work on the training ground and him to find his confidence back and then he will be back to the Lucas we saw last year bossing the midfield!
In the right system, he's a very good DM. Rodgers adopts a very aggressive and attacking system which means we will leave large gaps and ground to cover if we lose the ball. Therefore, we need a DM who can cover the ground and is positionally aware. This doesn't suit Lucas. Still a very good squad player to have.
Strength, Mobility, ability to pick a pass and start our attacks. If we can get this in one player great, if not then make it two who can compliment not only each other, but the forward line and back line.
If you think lucas is quality you need to change your glasses and understand football, he brings very little to the table and wouldn't get in the first team for man city, united, chelsea or arsenal.
Lucas has not been the same since injury. he's like fletcher... just not half as bad.. I mean come on utd went to play barca with only fletcher in their pocket and got reamed... UTd are damned lucky with thier draw this season in the CL but even lucas with his lower mobility would walk into utd's excuse for a centre midfield... fletchers bowel's, carricks old legs and cleverly's sideways pass... let alone the sideshow with the ****ers cramp? I reckon utd will be needing the refs help today. I don't think soldado pen.. isn't that his name... score today.
I think spurs will win today and show utd up, although they have been winning games they really have been **** still IMO Lucas is not a player I would be looking to get rid of, buy a player to compete with him and maybe we'll start to see the old Lucas
