A front two of Sagbo and Fryatt is our best option at the moment, Fryatt is the perfect type of player for Sagbo as he likes to get beyond the last defender and score tap ins, whereas Graham comes deep and works the channels too, so we end up with one striker on half way passing to another on the left wing with no one in the box.

Fryatt was good yesterday; linked things up well but importantly got that rebound goal which others in the team wouldn't have. But with Fryatt it's consistency. He goes through phases where he plays really well, looks keen and scores goals, but other times he seems moody, lazy and ineffective as a result. If he can stay motivated and keep his form up he's a good option to have.

Completely agree, Graham and Sagbo are too similar, they need a Matty Fryatt type playing off them.

As it is they both hold the ball up, run the channels...etc but there isn't anyone getting themselves in the box.

I'd give Matty a run playing with Sagbo, I think they'd work well together.

Ive said this ever since we signed Prosser and feel like a broken record..... All our strikers - except Fryatt and Gedo who the management clearly dont rate so they largely dont count - like to come deep and therefore we end up without anyone on the last shoulder of the defence. I mustve posted 25 times did we actually watch Prosser cos he was precisely the type of striker we didnt need. And then we go and sign Graham who is EXACTLY the same again!!!

Your spot on, I feel for Graham because he takes so much criticism for not scoring, but the role he has been asked to play will never make him a prolific goal scorer. We have 3 very good forwards that can hold the ball and play others in but we have no-one playing off them to take the chances.

Shane Long would be brilliant alongside either Graham or Sagbo, with the current squad out best bets are Matty or Gedo.

I'm not criticising Brucie's tactics because we're doing so well as it is, I just feel we're not taking advantage of the players we have by playing Sagbo and Graham together.

I'd rather have Fryatt than Long.

I haven't seen heaps of long, but from what I have done he looks similar Sagbo and Graham in that he likes to come deep.
