    Dear Santa,

I know it's a bit late, and that it's cruel to ask you to go to that place once never mind twice, but please, please, please could you bring fredor a full stop for Christmas?

Wishful thinking Albert but I'm afraid we cannot change history just to make the citizens of Newcastle feel better must get a new keyboard with a full stop, have to admit the bit about the slope on the wear to get the ships out quicker was not true , they did that so they could water ski

Washington is inside the city boundaries mate, and it least our stadium doesn't look like being in immediate danger of toppling over when looked at from above.
If we are talking about false boundaries, I'm sick to death of hearing that North Shields ferry terminal and Gateshead Metro Centre being described as being in Newcastle..

May have to ban Mackems from North Shields Ferry Terminal or at least search them for matches and other incendiary devices, given the news that the North Sea Ferry Fire was started by one of them.

'Fire-starters' for you - not content with setting alight Disabled Fans at SJP, they have to try and set fire to a ship at sea.

A shipyard book was one of my two best xmas presents this year (along with a mask):

In terms of numerical yards the Tyne did in fact have significantly more as the below maps show.

    Wearside Major Shipyards (16)

    Tyneside major shipyards (25)
