8/27 not good enough

So it halfway stage in the BPL. Liverpool have taken just 8 points from the other 9 teams in the top ten even allowing for the 2 robberies this week thats a pretty **** return.

Certainly not title winning and imo not top 4 standard either.

We need to get in some reinforcements in January and ones we'll actually use. Luis Alberto overlooked for Brad Smith today wtf.

28/30 against the bottom 10 has us where we are ... the 8 from the 9 teams is frightening tbh.

We've had troubles beating these 'lesser teams' in the past few seasons, and now we're beating them people are moaning

In the past ? as in last month v Hull or earlier v Southampton ? Its not really a moan more of an observation on where we need to buck up (e.g. picking up more points from "rivals" and getting in players we will use)

You're beating the tat because they've almost all been at home making it easier. You're losing to the good teams because they've almost all been away.

You'll now get a slightly worse record against the tat as you play them all away (and Hull have shown that most teams will give you a good match at their own ground), and, possibly, a better record against the good teams at home (eg. your home win against United).

 

It would help if Suarez does not go missing against these top teams...

 

No like beating these lesser teams such as Norwich, Cardiff, crystal palace, Spurs, the Mancs, Fulham, Sunderland etc.

I think it agrees with Hash overall as the current top 4 in the mini are the current top 4.

Obviously we've played a lot of them away. (Can't be arsed looking at that) and would expect to pick up more with home advantage

And yes I only did top 9 not ten but it doesn't change our tally.

 

Interesting that the two to have come to Anfield are the same two that are below us.

Were most of yours home or away first half? Just strange you are at the top of Real 4 but bottom of mini 4.

United, City, Newcastle away (3 points)... other 5 at home (11 points).

One thing going for us the last 12 months is that we're the best team for bullying the tat and winning home or away. Actually not even tat, most teams 6-7th place down I'd back is to beat home or away. We'll see how long that lasts
