Never said we'd win it Custard, but as you and the other mancs have been telling us since August its not the league positions that count but the points total. Btw are we ahead of Utd in points and on league position? #falsehopefromtheordinarymancs
Have to say it's the most open and exciting Premiership for years ... as a neutral I'm thoroughly enjoying it ... you lads should too
I wouldn't have closed it but then, it wasn't up to me was it... I'm happy you've re-opened it as the point still stands. you guys just look foolish because you couldn't take a bit of banter but now "you're back" and we've "hit the boom cycle" its open again
I requested it be reopened immediately and it was; http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/242801-Banning but hey, don't let that get in the way of your story.
So I see, my mistake. I didn't know it had been re-opened. Of course, if had slipped down the pecking order I wouldn't have seen it. Don't see how pointing out the posters that claimed we wouldn't be near the top come Christmas makes us look like ****wits when we were indeed not only near the top, we were actually top. Now, if we had claimed we were going to stay there then I'd understand it. Maybe you should take a English course or something? You clearly don't grasp the English language
Yep, just didn't expect it to be mancs since you're back Although, it does like Dr is biting but that depends on whether you read his dialogue with matth prior to this thread or not too
More directed at the Liverpool fans seeming a bit upset at being on the receiving end of banter especially considering the amount certain posters have dished out. For the record, we are far from back
Can't see too many upset in this thread TBH, I'm merely laughing at Ruff for thinking that bumping that thread somehow twists the logic I can understand why he's trying to twist it as I wouldn't have liked to have been on the receiving end when it was first posted but it was in good banter. At the start of the season I said you guys would get third, I still think you'll be closer than some others have suggested but then, its hard to pick between the ones that truly mean it and the ones that are just trying to rub things it on a rare opportunity for us. We were always going to have a bad spell over the festive period, again this is something I've said all season; IMO it is the only part of the fixture list where you can claim it to be unfair because the best teams have bigger squads to cope with the fixture congestion. In other words, Man City and Chelsea have enough player to keep things fresh, we don't.
At a guess it's more to do with premature gloating by the Liverpool fans and the current momentum of both sides. To go from 1st to 5th inside of a week is kind of funny especially for a club like Liverpool who have been on the cusp of great things for over 20 years! It looks a bit like a case of being able to dish it out but not being able to take it.
I invite any Liverpool fan to provide evidence of suarez scoring against a big side this season. I also invite you to show how hes not a flat track bully right now. For those who dont know what a flat track bully is, its a player who excels against smaller, weaker sides but is ineffective against better sides. In essence its Luis Suarez 2013.
Is it funny, really? We are four points off the top and just one point from fourth having visited Stamford Bridge, The Emirates, White Hart Lane, Eastlands and Goodison Park already this season. You won't find too many upset Liverpool fans. In fact, most would have taken this position had it been on offer at the start of August
