And for the benefit of Tobes ( don't want him getting upset at so many predicting us taking Mourinho's unbeaten record) Everton 0 Sunderland 1 ....Everton take away Sunderland 100% away failure record
Thats good news Donga At least MrHanky isnt saying loss I dontknow what to go for here Will our mid be energetic?
My **** says draw, but logic tells me Jose will having someone flinging themselves over at every opportunity from dead-ball situations when Skrtel is defending. He really has to watch himself today, because by Brendan's understandable post-match rant he's thrown the spotlight on Shrtel as the refs support one of their own (see the Graham Poll defence of Mason in the Mail this week).
Yeah good thinking Dong He restricts himself jumping/challenging for the ball as hes too busy pulling
indeed, no doubt we will get more bent officiating. you felt the need to comment after your good 6-0 win not arrogance either then i take it?
I'm not. If Henderson, Allen, Sakho and Johnson are out with Gerrard and Studge we'll really, really struggle. Even never-injured Suarez was limping like **** after playing that alehouse team of yard dogs. I think we'll struggle on Wednesday, especially as you were just bloody unlucky to not beat Yernited on Boxing Day.
Maybe, just maybe, its a thing called confidence. Most predictions were made before the festive period when we were winning whilst playing good football (not that we've played bad in the last two games either). Wasn't Hull struggling too? Also, looking at it now, since we've lost two games, do you not think you could be about to feel a backlash?
Not sure what this is supposed to mean, really. Eto'o probably should've been sent off for his challenge on Henderson and you had a stonewall penalty turned down for the Eto'o foul on Suarez. On the other hand, the Lucas challenge on Hazard was similarly stonewall. As a neutral, I can probably be a touch more objective than you here. Of course, having a general issue with refereeing is a bit childish; I mean, it all evens out over the course of a season. There are plenty who claim that refs favour the "big" clubs too, and you're definitely a big club in comparison to us. Not really. It just disappoints me that some fans from the established order of "big clubs" like yours still have a rather dismissive opinion of smaller clubs like ours.
I don't really go in for scoreline predictions; it's too easy to end up looking a cnut. Going to Anfield is not an easy trip, but we're a well organised side whose whole is probably greater than the sum of our parts, and I'd like to think we will avoid a stuffing. I'm even hoping we could grab a point; who knows, possibly even 3. Unlikely, yes, but you never know. We'll certainly treat your team with more respect than some of your posters are treating ours here
Not so sure we were "unlucky", to be honest. We threw away a great position with some defending that wasn't as good as it has been most of the season. Maybe even lacked a bit of belief that we could beat another top-end team at home. As ever, I'd be delighted with a point away from home, especially against a team at the business end of the table. To be honest, after being widely predicted for relegation before the season had even started, I'm happy with a point from any game, home or away. 40 points will do us as a baseline; we only need a couple of wins on top of that and safety is assured.
You do realise this thread is part of a predictionleague don't you? Predicting the scoreline is kind of the point Nobody is disrespecting Hull. Nobody is expecting it to be an easy game either. Have a look at some of the predictions for the Man City and Chelsea games, or even on some of the older threads for other games. Some posters just like to predict crazy scores, others always predict a loss whereas some can't bring themselves to predict anything other than a Liverpool win. There are some serious predictions but also superstitious and piss take ones.
