Match thread: Watford - Queens Park Rangers

BBC stats suggests this is a largely equal match between what are frankly both mid table teams. Our performances are not accurately reflected in the table which flatters us.

 

We are called kind of used to this now.I think we have been found out a bit and all this talk of us having the best squad in the league???....We have one or two decent players but the rest are average. No flair,skill or goals and I'm so bored with this season.

 

I presume you're not referring to the possession stats which have us at virtually 60/40.

 

Derby are winning virtually every game, they have gained about 15 points on us since SM took over.

Wed have to win every game to keep up with them.

 

Leicester 5-3, home and dry. They're scoring for fun, makes a difference...

 

Why should they sustain that run?

 

0-0 we have stopped the rot and still sitting pretty ... Firmly believe lads we will win by ten points

 

We can't score goals its as simple as that and it's been like that all season. Unless it is rectified in January play off at best.

 

Every game is a 0-0 unless theres a goal scored out of nothing. Its the worst football I have ever seen when you take into account of how much the manager is paid (26th in the world) and the resources he is given.
The other managers have the excuse that they werent given what they wanted.

 

Agree but that is just based on today ... you don't get promotion in December

 

Form goes up and down. Derby won't keep that type of form up. No one knows what will happen next year. Predicting our demise is a little premature.

 

Possession means nothing, most especially when we have had huge amounts it almost exclusively in our own half in every match I've seen this season.

 

Everyone else scoring goals today while we grind out a 0-0 draw. What's Harry going to say....very satisfying to maintain a clean sheet?

 

Recall Hitchcock, offload Zamora and AJ and buy Rhodes

Because they are everything we are not, a good team playing well and scoring for fun and have a good manager, not an idiot who hasnt a clue and will shortly be begging for more money and moaning about injuries.

Have you seen anything this season that has given us a glimpse of anything other than that. we are a mid table team put in a false position by a freak once in a lifetime run of clean sheets.

The only hope is to change manager.

Simple-no Strikers = no goals. We don't have any if Austin is unfit. Zamora and Johnson need to go and we need two strikers in January.

 

I thought was better than Forest due to Ned and Barton. We had huge possession but so clear no one with Ideas... Adel threads - and no one up front at all. It is pretty easy to see what our issue is........
