Not that I want to point out our deficiencies, but Hull beat us at Home (we were shocking) and we only drew against Liverpool. Still think it's a bit harsh of your Mr Gruber to call us a poor team though (unless you mean in terms of the money Mr Ashley gives us )
I'm 23, i'm hardly young anymore. And as someone who's followed this club my whole life, standards have definitely slipped. 10 years ago we'd be pissed that we barely scraped by Newcastle, Wenger has lowered expectation so much that a scruffy 1-0 win is now deemed "good"

Even ten years ago, we never went to Newcastle and won with ease. It's always been a tough place to go for us.
10 years ago MOST of the teams in the PL were dross , there to make up the numbers . Now any one of them can give the biggest of clubs an eye opener . Cant really compare the two decades . IMHO
No, 10 years ago Newcastle were **** and the standard of other PL teams other than the top four was pretty sketchy. You need to realise that times have changed and the whole league has caught up with Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea etc. Anyway, 10 years ago I still wouldn't be pissed that we 'scraped' by Toon, if we'd won I'd have been as happy as I am now. Kind of funny that you think 23 isn't young though.
