I was there the Saturday that John Charles came back to Cardiff and scored that freak wonder goal, I even remember it was a glorious sunny day.

Sparkey, I was born and bred in Cardiff and have lived here all my life. Jck are my initials first two names being John Charles. To me an open forum means everyone can have their say and no one has to agree, it is not a place for the old pals act. It is also fair that we look at both sides of every issue so we do not get tunnel vision and cover over the real facts of the matter.

I will have more memories on standing in the bob bank at Ninian Park than a lot on here and have every right to speak my mind.

Really you should look at the abuse I have had after some of my posts and ask them why they are going against the board rules.

If you cannot accept others might not share your opinion do not go onto forums.

My posts are intelligent and factual but the replies have nothing to do with my content.

He shoulnt have to explain himself, it's an absolute disgrace a thread has been allowed to victimise him just because he sees things differently.

He's not even posting opinion really, just facts abou t Malks record which is perfectly legitimate

 

Have to agree with Pontprennau here, can't see a lot wrong with what he has posted, in fact I agree with quite a bit of it.

 

Others have questioned him recently, not me personally. It seems only fair that he's been given the opportunity to clarify things.

I happen to agree with a number of his views if not quite so fervently. I asked the question - I'll leave it to others to make up their minds.

 

Well other things to concern ourselves with today, hope we do ok, it's a tricky time.

i agree with you and share a similair pov as you which is why i have decided to take a step back and not complain about you or anyone else on here voicing their opinions JUST BECAUSE THE GROOVY GANG ARE GONE DOES NOT MEAN WE HAVE TO TAKE THEIR PLACE

 

We are all on the same side really and god forbid we all start agreeing with one another.

I see a sense of fairness and will respond to that by my future posts.

Mostly I have a smile on my face but not as wide as when we beat Swansea.

Back to the thread, John Charles ? a bit early for me. I can just about remember Toshack.

 

I mentioned seeing John Charles play his first game for us to show how long I have waited for us to be in the top flight, to be honest a change of shirt colour was long overdue...how many are wearing clothes they had in the sixties?

That is minor compared to the legacy I want for my son, he has the chance to see Cardiff in the premier league for many years to come thanks to TG and now Tan.

No one has to like the owner but he is the one getting all the abuse and I happen to hate abuse being hurled at anyone.

Wear the blue, chant bluebirds remember our history then let us all move forward together united to support our team and not add to the media frenzy.
