    Does anyone have the capacity to set up a paypal link on this site to Hudders charity account fo cancer research? After today I have a fiver I'd like to donate on top of my match ticket. Also someone who could stick the same link on perhaps the spurs and derby boards? C'mon - lets do something positive in our own name and not just be seen as a protest board.
    I KNOW the justgiving page address but I would like to see what this community can contribute in a positive way.
    Ive pedged a fiver. There'll be another fiver for his second, third fourth and 5th this season. If he gets to 10 theres another £20. If 20 or 30 people wil back this idea then it would be a genuine contribution - a bit like reverse betting if you like.
    Need someone to set it up though. My payal account awaits someone with the knowledge to create the not606 Hull CITY Thuddlestone haircut account. I shall donate to the end of the season.

    49 views and no replies. Nice. I lost 2 mates and a father-in-law in the last 5 years ago the cancer curse. Some of you must feel the same. Lets "reverse bet" Tommy's record this year as a colective rather than making vast cumulative profit for " billy hill". C,mon
    , lets bet for something which is guaranteed to make a proper difference rather than a ****ing free night out. Get a grip lads eh?

    It sounds like he wants to donate as a forum. Back in college our fraternity used to do a similar thing, where you set up an account and people donate to that account and then the donations go to the cause. That way the donation went down as a fraternity rather than a bunch of individuals. Probably to late as most have already given to his page directly.

    Yup, that's the idea but the concept of collectivity is clearly lost in favour of self interest. What worries me most is that the CTIDers havent even registered the potential that tangible support in a specific name to a players charitable interest might offer the potential to help validate a legitiate complaint agzindt the club and league heirarchy. The art of protest is truly dead in an individualistic society. God bless thatcher. **** you all. Hulltigers it will be.

    What the **** has the name change got to do with this?

    Virtually every person on here has given a good bit of money.

    When you act like that no wonder nobody is helping you.

    Hope so. Im actually extremely sober. I guess what I am saying is that if we put up a collective front andb do something undeniabl positive then allam is going to eventually find the " bunch of thugs" argument untenable.it is anyway. An extra few quid fot so.ething positive wouldn't go amiss in any way. If we can all put something in under a collective anti- name-change banner then it will be much harder for tje premier league to sanction the change. Its the Ghandi principal. If it doesn't work then the worst case is cancer research gets a bit more cash.

    Nothing wrong at all wit individual donationd - in fact they are commendable in the extreme. Im on about trying to make them count for the collective good under a common banner.

    sorry but even trying to bring the name change into what is clearly thuds day and his day only is quite frankly pathetic .. I am sure you will read back on these and maybe regret what you said .. you have tried to bring what is a great day for possibly the greatest talent to ever wear our shirt into a CTID sideshow ( or tried to) ... quite frankly .. let the birthday boy have his day and just enjoy what is a historic day for us :/

    I'm not sure, but what I think he is trying to say is;

    We (CTID) should have grouped together and payed all the money into a single designated paypal and made a payment under the protest name. To show AA that they aren't thugs. But as I said, I'm not a 100% what this idiot is saying.

    Exactly.

    This is one thing the name change should not be involved in.
