Id guess either to let him have a standing ovation and/or to prevent him picking an injury up The manning of the premier league
Text commentary was saying he went off injured. Tom himself though said in his post match interview that he was fit and feeling good at the moment. So probably the latter.
Fair enough, he deserved one. Sagbo didn't get the praise he deserved having come off just after we scored. Fulham seemed to make a sub straight after we scored, each of their subs came after a goal.
He didn't deserve a great deal, maybe that's why? Great cross, ****ed up 2 better, clearer chances by being greedy bastard and going for glory from 25 yards.
Sagbo played well in the second half, set up on directly, the other from a rebound off of his shot. A good day in my book.
My husband tells me that the 6-0 scoreline is the fifth recorded by Hull City in league football. Also 3 at 7-0,and one each at 8-0,9-0 and 10-0. Also to restore some balance Fulham beat Hull City 6-0 at Craven Cottage in 1921.
Dear Mrs. BMB - I'm gradually getting into the belief that your 'husband' is, in fact, a SuperComputer who knows every fact that we mere mortals don't....
If my memory serves me correctly, Hull City recorded its highest ever win 13-0 over Carlisle on the day after I was born....Saturday January 14th 1939... with one J.Dickinson being among the goal scorers. That also happened to be the name of my future (and present) wife. An omen? Personally I remember being at the 8-0 win over Oldham in the late 50's.
Completely agree, it was a great cross for the goal but there were a number of times he made the wrong choice on the break and the move broke down. Played his part today but not quite as outstanding as people are making out.
