There is a strong case for bringing him back, but we have to bear in mind the enormous gulf in class between the two leagues, although it doesn't mean that Jack could not do the same in the Championship
People were saying similar about Rhodes but he has continued doing what he does at each level he's played at.
Yes there is a big gulf between conference and championship. But if he comes back to us when the Woking loan is up mick must give him some game time to see if he's ready to step up.
Exactly, you'll never find out if he's good enough to play in the championship unless you give him a chance in the championship.
I have no doubts that you will see young Jack playing in a Town shirt before the end of the season and I dont just mean the U21s! Mick is preparing him now for the physical aspects of the game as we all know that he has that natural poachers gift of scoring goals. Jack just needs to strengthen up and the Conference will give him the chance to build on his natural strength.
i've had it passed on to me via a friend who's heard Jack will be now on his way to Gillingham on loan. a good move by Mick if he has no immediate plans for him with us as it's a step up from Woking and will test him some more. thoughts and opinions
Good move from Mick in my opinion, this will obviously test him more than Woking, so this will keep him on his toes. What will make it more challenging is that Gillingham are a struggling team, so this might tell us something about his character, lets hope he passes his test
Good move.....a step up which will show if he is ready to be in the first team picture next season...................i think it may be a little early for the lad to be starting in the prem next season so maybe another loan out to a Championship side for a few months....
