Fletcher isn't fit enough, and is way more cautious post-injuries.
Jozy is fit enough, but lacks confidence and is more of a target man than an out and out striker/poacher.
Both have had very few chances due to a **** start, and generally apalling deliveries into the box and/or lackcof composure in the final 3rd.

Dletch has lost his hair, though. just fckin shave your heed man - you'll score far more goals

As has been said, he scored 12 last season and missed the last 8 or so games. Also missed a massive chunk of this season. He looked a very good player last season and has lost form and confidence. He hasn't looked fully fit either. People keep saying "give Altidore service"? Really? He had 4 shooting chances between the Chelsea cup game and the Norwich game and took an extra touch every time. Our equaliser against Chelsea happened more because he couldn't shoot. He is, in essence, the same striker Hull had with a better eye for a pass. Won't get more than 3 This season I reckon. I will happily eat humble pie if he proves me wrong but I just don't see a goal scorer in him.

I have in fletcher. It has been in small glimpses this season but last season I saw a goal scorer.

No-one would be happier than me if one or either of these two got into the habit of scoring. I just cant see it happening.

For me, Fletcher is a typical example of a player being brought back too soon after a serious injury, he hasn't been the same player he was before.
As for Altidore, in my humble opinion he isn't PL standard, lot of huff and puff but no end product, he needs to throw his weight around a bit more.

i would sell fletch if we could get Demba Ba, he is just what we need, and with more game time, get back to being immense, he is just a bit part player at Chealski

It's easy to hang Jozy out to dry for not scoring and to defend Fletcher's fitness as a reason to why he's not scoring. We've had less shots than any other team, the problem is they're not getting supply which is why you need to look at what else they do for the team. Jozy is better for the team at the moment than Fletch is for whatever reason. I can go and check stats if anybody likes as I'm sure they'd back it up. I'd rather not as I think it's plain to see.

Players like Fletcher, Borini and Altidore score goals and have a track record of doing so. We need players to supply balls, run at defenders and suck them in, Giacherini has the ability to do that, Ki has an eye for a pass and Larrson's delivery wasn't bad at Everton. It's the confidence we need to read each other's game and nail it.

    So Altidore better than Fletcher...

I rest my case for defending Fletcher, Altidore has just done it for me
