not sure ... a couple of years ago when we (spurs) were doing well the press bigged us up as potential champions and then delighted at having a dig at every possible opportunity...I get the sense that they have been doing the same with Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal in the hope that they can then knock 1 or more of them down...the press seem to love nothing more of building people or teams up then sticking the boot in

 

he has a perfect disciplinary record...fine at worst imo...unnecessary but probable

 

Judging by previous convictions (#fergie) it should be a fine and possible suspended sentence.

This is the one thing on here that does genuinely annoy me. It's not constructive and doesn't have the saving grace of any sort of humour and just makes it difficult to discuss the subject in hand.
