Strikers are all about confidence, just look at what's happened to Torres.

yesterday he looked scared of getting injured (bottled 60/40 with Howard) then when his chance came it was on his weaker foot.

I do think he's looked a little jaded/disinterested recently.

 

No reason why he should be, he's not past his prime yet so he's either struggling with injury, struggling with the philosophy or lost heart. What ever it is he needs to get it sorted because nobody in our squad is safe from being sold imo.

talk about fickle ,hes out of form nothing what a goal wouldnt sort out ,it happens to all strikers at some point and like all strikers he will regain it,the obvious one is a move that normally kicks them into action again and we get the same momentum in another coming in ,are we in a situation that its catch 22 between a rock and a hard place with jozy not scoring either ,or has wickhams time come

It's more than just goals though isn't? His all round play hasn't been a patch on Jozy's. I'm not hanging out to dry so don't put me in that bracket as I very much rate him, but it's in his and our best interest to sort his form out before Poyet starts looking for 'his' forwards and he's out the door. Gus has his team to build and scoring is a problem after all.

 

i really dont know mate it sure is a hard call to make , its the most precious thing any team can have a goalscorer a item that does not come cheap and is wanted by all, the answer is from me is i think i would be sorry to lose him but our survival depends on scoring goals to do that , whos going to get us those ten goals whos going to be available ?

Poyet has sorted the defence. I like our mix for midfield - whatever anyone else says.
